Event Report – Dreamforce 22 – The future gets clear
MyPOV: Salesforce platform future was an uncertain path forward,
with no answer to BigData and AI demands. That’s “genious-
ly” addressed with Genie now, including an upgrade path.
Dreamforce was back in person, 40k attendees, almost like pre pan-
demic. Very strategic DF as it charts a platform future for Salesforce.
• Genie enables a platform future, for BigData, AI & next Gen CRM
• Great software makes good re-use – CDP is the base of Genie
• Genie enables hybrid operation & data migration from old to new
• Slack (finally) evolves into synchronous collaboration use cases
