2. What is Beauty?
Object vs. Subjective Accounts
The enterprise of aesthetic judgment is highly complicated.
This presentation attempts to differentiate the major differences
between the concept of “beauty” and “artistic beauty” .
Several perspectives from philosophers, aestheticians, and
social thinkers were introduced via different work of arts
representing the evolvement of aesthetic and judgments. The
major two categories: The objective accounts and subjective
accounts can be seen that the beautiful qualities are objectively
presented in the things they appear to the qualifications; and the
Subjective account is perceived whether the beautiful qualities
exist in the mind of the individual.
