SEO, sometimes causing worry and stress to
businesses that rely on page ranks.
It's time to clear SEO's name, starting with the
following SEO myths.
• Google doesn't like SEO.
If that were true, why is Google on record
saying that SEO can “potentially improve your
site and save time”?
They also have their very own SEO starter
guide.
• Google answers is going to kill SEO.
Links are slowly being replaced by answer
boxes when users ask certain questions,
however, according to reports from MozCast,
only 4.9 percent of Google searches generate
an answer box.
• Social activity doesn't matter.
Google may not use shares and followers to affect search
rankings, but social media does help with two major factors
of SEO:
• Content distribution, leading to shares and links
• Search engine indexation and discovery
