2. Since 2006 we have worked in
Kosova, Colombia, & the
Philippines, as well as in the USA
with Vietnam war veterans.
We have worked in Northern
Ireland for over 20 years.
3. We work with ANY individual
affected in any way by violent or
emotional conflict.

7. “In order to make ourselves
autonomous peace builders, we have
to make ourselves financially
sustainable”

9. We are NOT therapists. We are NOT counsellors.
Instead, we use therapeutic educational processes to
help people to help themselves & their communities
emotionally….especially at times where international
support agencies have left the conflict arena.
10. A major tool we use is to humanise the conflict
itself by encouraging participants affected by
civil unrest to discuss personal FEELINGS about
the past as opposed to history or politics of the
past.
Our reasoning is based on people we’ve met who
turned to violence for emotional rather than
political or military reasons.

12. Although we work with ANY individual, a
big part of our work has been with
families of RUC & UDR officers killed in
Northern Ireland.
Much of the work is deliberately done on a
very low key basis. The work is not in any
way political, but instead addresses the
emotional needs of individuals deeply hurt
by violent acts.
