  2. 2. CORN BELT It extends from Iowa and Missouri to Ohio. There are good climatic conditions and great soils. They are used to make food for caws and pigs. They are big lands and very mechanised.
  3. 3. DAIRY BELT From the estuary of Saint Lawrence to the Great Lakes zone. The climate is wet with low temperatures. They have developed crops of animal’s food into the belts.
  4. 4. WHEAT BELT From Alberta to Kansas, Oklahoma and the north of Texas. The climate is dry and contrasted temperatures. They usually use extensive and long fallow. These belts are very mechanised
  5. 5. COTTON BELTS From Texas and Louisiana to north Carolina In the southeast on USA there are some crops traditionally cultivated which come from the old slavery supported crops.
