Pre-requisites
 You need your own Amazon AWS account : http://aws.amazon.com
 You will need the Security Credentials from your Amazon AWS account

Step 1
 Navigate to SAP HANA Marketplace : http://www.saphana.com/docs/DOC-3954
 Ensure you are logged in with your SAP HANA Marketplace / SAP.com credentials
 Click on “Download Free”

Step 2
 Click on “Request Trial”

Step 3
 You are transferred to the SAP Store and the SAP NetWeaver BW on SAP HANA Trial is
added to your shopping cart
 Click on “View Cart”

Step 4
 You can see the details of your Shopping Cart
 Click “To Checkout”

Step 5
 You need to accept the Terms and Conditions

Step 6
 Click “Submit Order”

Step 7
 You will receive two eMails
– The first eMail is a order confirmation
– The second eMail includes the link to the SAP Cloud Appliance library to receive the systems

Step 8
 Open the second eMail with the link to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library
 Click on the link to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library

Step 9
 In the SAP Cloud Appliance Library you will be asked to provide your Security Credentials
from your Amazon AWS Account
 You can then also define the password for the Administrator account for the systems
 Click on “Create Instance”

Step 10
 The systems are being created for your (in your Amazon AWS account)
 You can also use the link to the User Guide to see the details of the pre-configured
scenarios

Step 11
 After around 20 – 25 minutes the systems are ready to be used
 You can click on the systems line item to receive the details (next slide)

Step 12
 On the details page you can receive the IP numbers (bottom right) to now start a Remote
Desktop session with the systems

Step 13
 On the overview page you can also start, stop, suspend and terminate the systems
 It is recommend to use these commands instead of directly using the Amazon AWS Console
to ensure the configuration (for example, IP Numbers) are intact
