8. Ever increasing Ridership
Growth in 2012 is almost 2x as compared to 2011; due to opening of Green Line.
Between 2012 and 2013, increase of 26%
Average daily ridership in 2012 and 2013 was about 380,000.
In 2014, ridership on weekdays have reached over 530,000 per day.
On 2/10/2014, Dubai Metro’s highest ever ridership of 610,000 passengers
