1. Who would the audience be
for your media product?

2. • The target audience for my magazine is for mainly of
the female gender.
• Ages 16-25: This is because I feel at these ages the
girls will be old enough to go to concerts, festivals and
gigs without being tied down by other commitments or
by being disallowed by parents, as any younger than
16 is a tricky age and parents are not happy with their
teenage girls going to festivals etc by themselves.
• Living in the United Kingdom as this is where my
magazine will be distributed throughout.
• Religious backgrounds must be varied as the UK is a
very multi cultural continent.
• Indie stereotype. This is the genre of my magazine so it
needs to attract Indie teenagers as well. An interest in
fashion is also generally needed also as many pages
may be fashion orientated.

3. • As well as this, I am aiming to meet the
target audience of middle class
backgrounds as this is the social class
which can afford to purchase luxuries such
as magazines whereas a working class
background may struggle to keep up with
a weekly/monthly instalment
