Genesis 1:8 || Meditate the Scripture daily verse by verse
Quran In The Bible
1. The Noble Qur’an Foretold in the Bible
Preservation of the Divine Prophecy
There are scripture revealed before this Qur’an, ie., the Torah ( Law of Moses), Psalms ( or Zabur
of David ) and Injil ( the Gospel of Jesus and other Propehts ( PBUT) But unfortunately, the previous
scriptures had been tampered and madesome deletions and addition by the followers of the said Prophets (
PBUT). On the contrary, Allah still preserved the truth which are contained in the original Bible, especially
about the prophecy of the Last and Final Revelation which is the Noble Qur’an which is now still extant in
its original form.[ The Qur’an acknowledges that God sent down the revelation of the Taurat to Moses and
the Injil to Jesus before He sent down the revelation of the Qur’an to Mmuhammed (PBUH) as a guide to
mankind: “ It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before
it. And He sent down The Law ( of Moses) and the Gospel ( of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind.” (
Qur’an 3:3). The Koran also criticizes The Taurat, shwing that its disciples have slanted its teaching : “ Of
the Jews there are those who dispalce words from their (right)places.”( 4:46)
The slanting of meaning here results from a misinterpretation of the Scripture by using words to
things for which they were not originally meant, or from hiding a part of God’s Message, or from making
certain additions or omissions in the original sense. It also results from neglecting the Commandments and
Rules that the considerable lenght of time and their constant suppression necessitated. To this effect, The
Qur’an declares : “ They change the words from ( their) right places and forget a good part of the
message that was sent them.” ( 5:14).
The Qur’an explains that the Jews hid a great many teaching of their religion : “ O People of the
Book ! ( Jews and Christians) There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used
to hide in the Scripture, and passing over much ( that is now unnecessary)” Qur’an 5:15. Among the
revelations of Allah that the Jews hid are the qualities of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the tidings
of his coming, which they twisted to bear totally different meaning. In the Taurat, likewise, one finds no
mention of the Judgment in the Hereafter, whereas belief in this is one of the basic tenets of religion.]*1
Hary Gayford Dorman says:
“ It ( Qur’an) is a literal revelations of God dictated to Muhammad by Gabriel, perfect in every
letter. It is an ever present miracle witnessing to itself and to Muhammad, the Propeht of God. It’s
miraculous quality resides partly in its style, so perfect and lofty that neither men nor jinn ( spirit)
could produce a single chapter to compare with the briefist chapter, and partly in its content of
teaching, prophecies about future, and amizingly accurate information such as the illiterate
Muhammad could never have gathered of his own accord.”
‘ ( Towards Understanding Islam p. 3, 1948)
Revealed to The Unlettered Prophet
“ and when they give the book to the one who canot read saying
‘ Read this’, he says, ‘ I cannot read.’ ” ( Isaiah 29:12 Bible )
The first revelation of Allah through angel Gabriel to Muhammad (PBUH) was the word “ Iqra”
which means “ Read” in Surah or Chapter 96:1-6 and this revelation came to the Prophet in the cave of
Hira.
James Michiner says:
“ Like almost every major propeht before him, Mohammed faught shy of serving as the transmitter
of God’s word, sensing his own inadequancy. But the Angel command “ read” so far we know,
Mohammed was unable to read or write, but he begun to dictate those inspired words which
would soon revolutionize a large segmen of the earth. “ ( Islam The Misundertood Religion,
Readers Digest American Edition , May 1955 pp. 68-70)

2. The Book was Revealed piece by piece
The verses of the Noble Qur’an was revealed in installation or piece by piece. It was completed
within 23 years. The Bible says:
“ For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little,
there a little. Nay but by men of strange lips and with alien tongue* the Lord will speak to
this people... Therefore the word of the Lord will be to them, precept upon precept, precept upon
precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little that they may go, and fall
backward, and be broken snared and taken.” ( Isaiah 28:10, 11,13 Bible)
* alien tongue or strange lips mean not the Hebrew or Aramaic but the Arabic tongue.
John William Drapper says:
“ The Koran abounds in excellent moral suggestions and precepts; Its composition is so
fragmentary that we cannot turn to a single page without findings maxims of which all men must
approve this pragmentary construction yields texts, and mottoes, and rules complete in
themselves, suitable for common men in any of the incidents of life.” ( A History of the Intellectual
Devekopment of Europe, 1875 Vol. 1 pp. 343-344 )
J. Nash added:
“ The Qur’an in its original Arabic dress has a seductive beauty and charm of its own. Couched
in concise and exalted style, its brief pregnant and explosive energy which it is extremely difficult
to convey by literal word for word translation.” ( The Wisdom of the Qur’an, 1937 p. viii)
The Book Was Not Revealed To The Apostles of Jesus
“ And he will become a sanctuary, and a stone of ofense, and a rock of stumbling to both houses
of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many shall stumble therein; they
shall fall and be broken; be snared and taken. Bind up the testimony, seal the teaching among
my disciples.”
( Isiah 8:14-16 Bible)
In the New Testament of the Bible, Peter explained that the stone of offense, and a rock of stumbling block
to the house of Israel was Jesus Christ ( I Peter 2:4-8 Bible), and the testimony or teaching was bind up and
seal to his disciples. Therefore, this book is neither the New Testament noor the Old Testament of the
Bible.
This Book Is A Song of Praises
“ Sing unto the Lord a new song and his praises from the ends of the earth ... Let the sea ror
and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants.” ( Isaiah 42:10 Bible)
The new song here is not Hebrew or Aramaic but Arabic. The praises of Allah is chanted five (5) times
daily ( Azan) from the minarets of millions of Mosques all over the world. Even the Qur’an, in Arabic
always recited by the Muslims all over the world in prayer, pilgrimage, and others.
Arthur J. Artberry confirmed:
“ In making the present attempt to improve on the performance of my predecessors, and to
produce something which might be accepted as echoing however faintly the sublime rhetoric of the
Arabic Koran, I have been at pain to study the intricate and richly varied ryhtyms which apart
from the message itself-constitute the Koran’s undeniable claim to rank amongst the greatest
literary master piece of mankind. This very characteristics featire-that inimitable symphony,
as the believing Picktall described his Holy Book, the very sounds of w hich move men to tears
2
3. and ectacy has been almost totally ignored by previous translator...” ( The Koran Interpreted,
London Oxford University Press, 1964 p. x)
The New Sons is a Song of Praises
“ Let the desert* and its cities lift up their voices the villages that Kedar* inhabitants; let the
inhabitants of Sela* sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountain, Let them give glory
to the Lord and declare his praises in the coastlands.*” ( Isaiah 42:11 Bible)
1. Desert, Kedar and Sela ( Petra) Is The Arab Race
“ Arising in a desert land sparely inhabited by a nomad race previously undistinguished in human
annals. Islam sailed forth in its great adventure with the slanderest human backing and against
the heaviest materials odds. Yet Islam triumped with seemingly miraculous ease and a couple of
generations saw the fiery cresent borne victorious from Pyreness to the Himalayas and from
the desert of central Asia to the desert of Africa. “ ( AML Stoddard, cited from Islam the
Religion Of The Prophet, Beguim Watt, Karachi Pakistan p. 56)
2. Coastlands ( Asia Minor, [ Elisha) see Ezekiel 27:7 Bible)
“ The Middeterranean coastlands ( Isaiah 20:6; 23:2,6). Islam also spread to the
small islands as far as Indonesia and the Carribean Sea.”
3. Full of Praises. The Noble Qur’an is the Divine Word of God. It is the only Scripture which
contain full of praises and to God. The Opening ( Al-Fatiha) chapter of the Qur’an acknowledge
the fact that all Praises is due to Allah alone, and so many verse in the Qur’an enjoin man to
invoke the Paraises of Allah.
4. Kedar
The second to the sons of Ismael ( Genesis 25:13; I Chronicle 1:29 Bible), and the anme of great
tribe of Arabs, on which the Holy Qur’an revealed in their tongue.
“ Kedar ... A tribe descended from Isamel ( Genesis 25:13 Bible) ... The people of Kedar were
Pliny’s Cedrai, and from their tribe Mohammed ultimately arose.” ( The Dvis Dictionary of the
Bible, op.cit. from Jammal Badawi, Muhammad in the Bible ).
5. Ends of the Earth ( Isaiah 42:10 Bible)
Sometimes the phrase ends of the earth was mistaken by one of a Christian cult that this phrase
was refering for time ( e.g. INK Pasugo, May-June 1983 p. 13). Etimologically the phrase is refering to
“space” or “ distance “ not time . Compare to Job 37:3 Jerusalem Bible)
a. Dictionary- “ ends of the earth means “ an extreme or furthermost part of anything
extended in space: ends of the earth. “ ( The American College Dictionary by Clarence L.
Barnhart, Random House New York 1958)
b. Synonyms of the ends of the Earth – “ distance; space, remoteness ... far off, far away;
afar off; abroad, to the eands of the earth, wide asunder... “ ( The New American Roget’s
College Thesaurus by Philip D. Morehead, New American Library 1978 p. 145)
c. Queen of Sheba of the South is from the ends of the Earth ( Matthew 12:42 & I King
10:10: 1-10b Bible)
3
4. “ The Queen of the south will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; she
came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon.. Now when the Queen of
Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord shae came to test him
with hard questions. “
The Kingdom of Sheba was the SW portion of the Arabian peninsula, but the Queen mentioned ruled more
probably over one of the Sabean settlements of North Arabia. The name came to be used for the far south
just as Tarsish stands for the W. limits of the earth ( Ezekeiel 38:13 & Psalms 72:10 ). Sheba is several
times mentioned in association with Dedan , another Arabian group, Genesia 10:7; 25:3; Ezekiel 38:13
figuring as one of the great tribe of traveling merchants.
6. Arabic Unified all the Muslims of the World.
“ Yea, at that time I will change the speech of the people to a pure speech, that all of them may
call on the name of the Lord and serve him with one accord.” ( Zepahiah 3:9 RSV Bible)
a. Change the Speech of the people
“ Aramaic was the language spoken in the days of Christ; it was akin to Hebrew ... In the Roman
empire in the East, Syriac or Aramaic was the most important language next to Greek. The
predominancy of Aramaic lasted for more than a thousand years. Arabic ultimately drove it
.
out..” ( Appendix, New Testament in Modern Speech by FR Weymouth p. 653)
“ The Arabic belongs to the southern branch of the Semitic language ... It is a rich, simple,
flexible language, and renders valuable help in the light given sounds, grammatical form, and
words with their meaning in connection with Old Testament study. It is the language of the
Koran, and this, together with the entensive conquests of Mohammedanism(?), has made it one of
the principal language of the w orld. The literature is somewhat extensive especially in the field
of religion, geography, and travel ... By the 10th or 11th century it had practically dispalced
Aramaic in Palestine, and is now the only living representtaive of the Semitic family of
language.” ( General Biblical Introduction 19th Edition by Rev. H.S. Miller p. 162)
b. Call On The Name Of The Lord.
One hundred thirteen (113) out of the 114 chapters of the Noble Qur’an start with the words “ In The Name
of Allah, Most Graciuos , Most Merciful.” This is alone clearly indicate that the Noble Qur’an could never
be the word of just anybody, for the true name of the Almighty God was revealed in this Scripture. Allah is
the proper Name for the Almighty God in the Semetic language, this is the language of Moses, Jesus and
Muhammad (PBUT). In Islam , all over the world we call God – Allah as his personal name.
c. To serve in One Accord.
“ But Islam has a still further service to render to the cause of humanity. It stands after all nearer to the
real East than Europe does, and it posseses a magnificent tradition of inter-racial understanding and
cooperation. No other society has much a record of success in uniting in an equality of status, of
opportunity, and of endervous so many and so various races of mankind... Islam has still the power to
reconcile apparently irreconcilable elements of race and tradition. If ever the opportunity of the great
societies of East and West is to be replaced by cooperation, the mediation of Islam is indespensable
condition. In its hands lies very largely the solution of the problem with which Europe is faced in its
relation with East. If they unite the hope of a peaceful issue is immesurerably enhanced. But if Europe, by
rejecting the cooperation of Islam, throws it into the arms of its rivals, the issue can be disastrous for
both.” ( Harr Gibb, Whither Islam, London 1932 p. 379 )
“ The pilgrimage to Mecca, huge assembly of believers from all five continents, the gathering,
together of a multitude of worshippers of all races on the plain of Arafat is perhaps the most
spectaculars expression, symbol and proof of unity and brotherhood of man as enunciated
and upheld by the religion of Islam, and it is equally symbol and proof of the equality of man
4
5. before Allah, the supreme Being, as taught by this religion. “ ( Islam’s Answer to the Racial
Problem , by a German Diplomat p.5)
7. Noble Qur’an the fiery law of God Almighty
“ The LORD came from Sinai,
And rose from Seir unto them;
And shined forth from Mount Paran,
And He came from the myriads holy
At His right hand was a fiery law unto them. “
( Duetronomy 33:2)
Brief analysis of Duetronomy 33:2
a. Sinai- this is the mountainfrom which the law was given to Moses ( i.e. Ten Commandments.
b. Seir ( Zeir)- the palce of Edomites ( 2 Kings 8:20,21) few miles north of Hebron ( Jerusalem), a
city of Judah was called Mount Seir. The Edomites were now incorporated with the Jewish nation.
This where Jesus performed his public ministry and recieved the revelation from God.
c. Mount Paran ( now Arabia ) where the Holy One came from Mount Paran ( Habakuk 3:3)
this is the palce were Ismael made his home and all his descendant ( Genesis 21:21; 23:15)
d. Came from the Myriads Holy ( RSV) is “ Ten Thousands of Holy One )
Who Are the Ten Thousands Holy One?
“ The led a march on Makka on Wednesday, the 10th of Ramadan
in the eight year of the Hijrah –630 with ten Thousand men. “
( The lIfe of the Prophet Muhammad, Abd Al- Rahman Azzam p. 24)
e. His Right Hand a Fiery Law Unto Them
“ I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unite all the wise and educated men of all
the countries and established a uniformed regime besed on the principles of the Qur’an which
alone are true and w hich alone can lead men to happiness.” ( Bonaparte et’ l Islam, by Chrfils ,
Paris, france pp. 105-125 , op. cit. Islam Our Choice, Bawany, Muslim World League, 1979 p. 76
)
“ It ( Qur’an) is the most esteemed and most powerful book in the world.”
( Introducing Islam, S. Chrisy Wilson , NY 1950 p. 30)
“ The Shariah, or Cannon Law based on principless of the Qur’an regulates a Muslim ‘s
entire life in the religious, political, and social senses, ... The faith of the Qur’an had penetrated
into Spain and was at the French border. “
( Mankind Search for God, Watch Tower p. 291 , 292, 1990 )
