To work a cable network, you must know the tools and wire colors. The standard cable has 8 wires in a specific color order inside the RJ connector. You use wire cutters to strip the cable, then insert the RJ connector into the network piston. Finally, you test the cable using a tester device to check if the lights for each wire pair are working properly according to the standard.
