Practical Session (Linking application
      ontologies with linguistic ontologies)

Description:

Link each concept in your legal-person ontology with the
concepts/Synsets in ArabicOntology/WordNet. The linking should be
based on the concept IDs.

Revise the glosses in your Legal-Person ontology with the glosses
found in WordNet and ArabicOntology. The glosses in the legal-person
ontology should be equal or a specialization of the glosses in
ArabicOntology/WordNet.

For new concepts (that exist in the legal-person ontology but not in the
ArabicOntology or WordNet), these concepts should be added to the
Arabic Ontology. (optional)

Practical Session (Rooting application
     ontologies with linguistic ontologies)

• Each student should work alone.

• After revising the legal-person ontology, each student will be asked
  to present his/her new version in front of all students, so to collect
  comments and feedback.

• Then each student will have some time to correct their mistakes,
  and submit the final version.

  • 5. Practical Session (Linking application ontologies with linguistic ontologies) Description: Link each concept in your legal-person ontology with the concepts/Synsets in ArabicOntology/WordNet. The linking should be based on the concept IDs. Revise the glosses in your Legal-Person ontology with the glosses found in WordNet and ArabicOntology. The glosses in the legal-person ontology should be equal or a specialization of the glosses in ArabicOntology/WordNet. For new concepts (that exist in the legal-person ontology but not in the ArabicOntology or WordNet), these concepts should be added to the Arabic Ontology. (optional) PalGov © 2011 5

Practical Session (Rooting application ontologies with linguistic ontologies) • Each student should work alone. • After revising the legal-person ontology, each student will be asked to present his/her new version in front of all students, so to collect comments and feedback. • Then each student will have some time to correct their mistakes, and submit the final version.
