I love running; I spend what many people consider a stupid amount of time training with the Dallas Running Club. Do not get me wrong though - I am both highly enthusiastic, and highly mediocre at the art of endurance running. What I love about endurance running is that it supplies an endless opportunities to push your personal boundaries. From marathons, to 50K trail runs, to setting personal records, the sport gives me finite goals to work towards in a highly ambiguous, chaos filled world where progress can be defined by an infinite number of dimensions. In the same way that I am constantly striving towards various athletic goals, an integral part of my future career goals includes an MBA. Thus I have outlined some concrete reasons why, you, the Sloan admissions committee, should take me to your finish line and make me a part of the Sloan Class of 2015.
