fund support is stiffer.”
“Situation is rapidly changing for the worse.

results we want and things are not
improving.”

ones to pursue and how much growth we can
handle.”

  its resources toward accomplishing
  these goals over a period of time

  • 2. WHAT CAN TRIGGER PLANNING? “With funding cuts, our financial situation looks very tight to continue the way we do now.” “The rules are changing. Donors want to see measurable outcomes. And competition for fund support is stiffer.” “Situation is rapidly changing for the worse. Our best efforts do not seem to yield the results we want and things are not improving.”

We need to decide which ones to pursue and how much growth we can handle.” “Our funder is encouraging us to develop a strategic plan.
