General Manager/Owner Le Atriums Salon and Spa. At a young age and with an extensive business experience with
previous companies, he is now handling the business management of BIC.
Jem Grospe Pablo
Jem has been an IT Director with several companies in Thailand for the last 20 years. He is still a consultant to a few of
them via online since he has decided to retire early here in the Philippines. His extensive knowledge in the computer
industry is the backbone of BIC's services. Jem now serves as IT Director for BI

Quickbooks Module: Hotel Reservation System
Magpie Property Management Suite is the answer to all your property
management problems. An internet-based online solution, Magpie allows you to
manage your property(ies) from anywhere in the world, giving you access to
business reports and financials 24/7. There is no batch processing and reports
are generated real-time using live data.
Magpie Property Management Suite and QuickBooks Online Edition are
completely integrated, streamlining your property management and saving you
time and money. Magpie also has an optional GDS connection which connects
you to large, internet-based reservation systems such as Priceline, Travelocity,
and Sabre, thereby increasing exposure and expanding your client base.
Magpie can be integrated with your website, allowing users to easily pass

• Filters, customized by you for your property, allow anyone to quickly find
available rooms that match the guests' specifications. Information for returning
guests is instantly displayed to alert staff to any special requirements and to
eliminate the need to reenter.
• From the reservation detail page you can easily change dates, relocate, or
cancel a reservation. You also have the power to easily modify any aspect of the
reservation details.
• Our booking engine also integrates with your website, allowing guests to view
availability and book reservations directly into your reservation system.

HOUSEKEEPING & MAINTENANCE FEATURES:
•Your housekeeping staff and front desk personnel can view and
add special requests, as well as mark those requests as
completed. Room item inventory can be tracked by your
housekeeping staff to ensure proper stocking of each unit.
•Magpie Property Management Suite's™ housekeeping
section provides two functions:
•Automated Daily Room Cleaning Management
•Special Requests
•Daily room cleaning management creates assignment sheets
flagging rooms for arrival, departure/arrival, departure and daily
for each room in need of service. The front desk has access to
room status information, enabling better communication between
departments.
•Sometimes rooms need more than just a regular cleaning. For
special cleaning circumstances, you should use the “Special
Request” application within the Housekeeping section. Special or
emergency requests can be entered by the front desk. Each
request is automatically time stamped with space for detailed
notes for both the staff member making the request and the staff
member fulfilling the request.
•Requests are saved in your system, allowing you to review
items at a later date.
•Tracking of Reoccurring Procedures -- You can
easily set up reoccurring items, such as changing
AC filters every 30 days or painting every two
years. The property management software tracks
when these activities are due, while maintaining a
history of completed repairs.
•Emergency Requests -- Emergency requests can
be entered by the front desk. Each request is
automatically time stamped with space for detailed
notes for both the staff member making the request
and the staff member fulfilling the request.
•Work orders can be printed, providing a paper trail
for all work completed. The work orders are also
designed to be faxed to outside maintenance
personnel.
•All emergency requests are saved in your system,
allowing you to review items at a later date and
easily review the maintenance history of a room.
•Repair and parts invoices from outside vendors
can also be entered into your system, allowing you
to develop detailed repair cost analysis reports in
QuickBooks.
•If your system is configured as a condo-hotel or
short term home rental, all maintenance vendor
bills are automatically entered in QuickBooks and
invoiced to the owner, with a markup if applicable.

REPORT FEATURES:
• Departure: Displays the scheduled guest departures for a given date range.
• Arrival: Displays the scheduled guest arrivals for a given date range.
• Occupancy: Displays the percentage that the selected unit(s) have been occupied for
a given date range.
• Reservations By Agent: Displays the reservations made by specific agents.
• Income: Allows you to view income by a user specified date range. It also allows you
to create an Excel spreadsheet of your income report.
• Night Audit: This report displays the cash on hand for a given date range.
• Unit Utilization: Used to show past, current, and future reservations per unit.
• Back Up: We recommend printing a backup report each morning. In the unlikely event
that your internet connection goes down, the backup report will provide you with a list of
reservations for the next ten days. You can use this to check guests in and out
manually.
• Travel: Use this section to print a report of your guests’ flight schedules for any
desired range of dates. This is very helpful if your property offers an airport shuttle.
