Introductions! Let’s get you trained…and on to Level 2!! Everyone has different goals, and that’s great!! But we are here to train you fast!!

Before we get into the meat, let’s get you organized!

Your why will lay the foundation for your packaged 1 min short story that will be told over and over again for different reasons within R + F….so what goes into your short story? Explain parts. Talk about how we can use the TRAIN function of PEI to perfect this and share with your sponsor.

Now that you’re set up, who are you going to talk to about this?
EVERYONE WITH SKIN!
Don’t pre-judge anyone- you never know what someone’s hopes. Dreams, and financial situations are. In fact, it’s usually the busiest, most well connected, successful people that get this right away and run!
Your job is to share this with EVERYONE….because they can all plug in as one of 3 C’s (consultant, customer, connector)
There is a memory jogger in pulse reminding you who to add in your list.

ACTION ITEM: Create a list of at least 400 names and contact info, and send this to your sponsor, letting them know you’re ready to assemble your team!

I like to think of 3-way calls as our secret weapon in this business. Ask any top-producing leader and they will assure you that their team is doing these on a daily basis!
Why? Because they are good for on the job training and to help grow your business.
How?
Remember: prospects need to know the financials of the business, the fact that this is direct sales prior to coming to the call

Remember, we are in the business of inviting….so let’s run through some of the language and logic we will use to master the art of inviting.
1st: What do we say?….the phrases “I need your help,” “I want to pick your brain” or “Who do you know” are the ones that seem to work the best….
2nd: Are we going to go directly at the person we are prospecting or use a more gentle approach with referral language? 99% of the time, we’ll use the latter.
3rd: It is important to remember that less is best when you are reaching out. Our tendency is to verbal vomit on prospects. Your rule of thumb should be 4 lines of text or 2 minutes while talking. NO MORE! Check out examples in TG on FB
4th: Calling will always be your most important tool to get people to take action. Get comfortable with the phone!
5th We often get the question of whether we should send a mass email to all our contact when we start. The answer is NO! People assume too much when they hear you are in direct marketing. Talk to them more intimately one on one!

Jamie…As your business grows…remember, you are always dripping and just pouring coffee!!!.. Inviting, 3way calls, BBLs, Biz Opps never stop….Always stay plugged in!!!
As you’re reaching out, remember- your job is to pour a cup of rodan + Fields a day…you’re like a waitress pouring coffee…
So as you continue to work your list, remember, always want to meet people on the go. Be your genuine self, but having a goal of meeting 5 new people/day, great people and possible connectors/biz partners/pcs can come into you life. Airports, preschool lines, dance practice, BBQs, etc and then have little nuggets to start bring your biz into converations…Remember TINY…Their interests not ours!!

Next, you’ve got to treat this as a business to get paid like a business.
Many people work this busines part time alongside of their full time job- so it’s important to be organized and set your hours of operation.
To be successful, you’lll want to set aside 10-15 hours per week of income producing activity…what does that mean? We only get paid to do 2 things in this business- get people on the product, and fine people to join your business.
So- cleaning your office or having leisurely conversations with your team don’t count!
Action Item: Set your hours- which will include time to prosepct, do business presentations by phone or in person, do business launch events, attend team meetings (local, phone)…..send your schedule to your sponsor.

IT’s important that now that you know the skills, you understand this is a business- you must be committed…and stay connected…this will take time.
This is a 3-5 year business- it’s not “Get rich quick”..it’s net WORK marketing.
As you do this, those beginning phases take time (SNOWBALL UP HILL)
Many see huge financial rewards after the first year or two laying the foundation.
Never give up- remember your why- do whatever it takes- be relentless.
You can do anything for a short period of time to produce long term rewards, and fincncial freedom for your family!
