2. OVERVIEW
Over the next three days you and your group
will read 6 different biographies on people
that experienced The Crusades. These
people are either Muslim, Christian or
Jewish.
The readings provide discussion questions to
help guide you to understand how each
group viewed The Crusades differently.
4. PERSPECTIVE
► Some people see a bunny.
► Some people see a duck.
► Some people see both.
► The truth is that the picture is both a rabbit
and a duck but what is seen depends
entirely on the person.
5. PERSPECTIVE
► The same can be said with history.
► A group’s perspective influences the way
events are recorded and remembered.
► Your goal during the research phase of this
project is to learn how Muslims, Christians
and Jews viewed the Crusades.
6. DIRECTIONS:
► Choose a person to read about.
► Create a Word Document that identifies the
person’s name and religious affiliation.
► Read and then answer the discussion questions
on the Word document.
