2. Initial Reaction
• I think that I have an extensive knowledge on video games so I
am quite excited to start designing a game, as I am 17 years
old I think that I will be able to judge what my audience will
like as I will like the same as most of my audience. I could
make a side scrolling combat game that includes jumping out
of the way of bullets and hiding behind barriers and trying to
make your way to the enemy, I am good at designing pixelated
backgrounds that are quite detailed so I cant wait to make a
detailed background that will fit the theme of the game and
make the game look appealing.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• All the photos are of a darker colour scheme as it add intensity and
excitement to the game as it puts the players on edge.
• The mood of the games are quite serious which gives a mature
affect on the game so teenagers will be more likely to try it out as it
will be more suited to them.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will influence my game as I have chosen images
that I think the style of the images would fit my game such as the
image of Arnold Schwarzenegger in alien vs predator, his attire
would fit in with my game and I will use these images for inspiration
when designing my final game.
