should never be waiting for the

Establish clear routines.
Insist on good presentation,
date, title, underlined etc
Insist on getting the small things

9. WARN THEN ACT
Act and follow up; don’t make idle
threats. Warn then carry out.
Keep a note of who you’re going to
keep behind.
Follow up and follow through.
12. REWARD & PRAISE
Reward and praise as much as
possible
If you have lots of pupils
misbehaving, acknowledge the
ones who are following
instructions
Take action later with a few.
Pick them off gradually, one at
a time if necessary. It may be a
long term battle.
