17. The Message of Jesus Christ
REPENTANCE – means the stoppage, the turning away from, or the change of mind towards a negative course
of action (thought, action, behaviour, character, lifestyle)
CONVERSION – means the supernatural change that happens to a person who has repented from their sins
and puts his faith (trust or belief) in Jesus Christ.
This supernatural change is administered by the Holy Spirit through the instrumentality or agency of the Word
of God and The Blood of Jesus Christ.
THE KINGDOM LIFE – This is the newness of life that is required from a person who has been converted. This
lifestyle is to be learned from the Word of God (the Bible) and through the assistance of the Holy Spirit. The
work of the Holy Spirit is to assist the new convert to produce the fruit of the Spirit which is the expected
Attitude, Behaviour, Character, or lifestyle of a Believer in Christ
