9. The roots take food and water from
the soil and transport it to the stem. It
also anchors the plant to the ground.

carbon dioxide and gives oxygen.
12. The flower attracts
insects for
pollination.
The wind, the water or animals like
the bee or the hummingbird
transport the pollen from a flower to
another to allow the flowers’
reproduction (seeds or fruits
formation).
