1. Oxford University visit to Naphill &Walters
Ash School
Earlier this year a Professor from Oxford University came to talk
to the Y6’s about going to University.
We took part in a few activities like a fact finding mission to
gather information about the departments. We also had to
match pictures to subjects. For example a wig and hammer would
match to law.
They told as about University life and subject lectures in the
lecture halls and then we had to design and label our own
University.
I defiantly enjoyed the visit by the Professor from Oxford
University and I am now not worried about going to University in
the future and would defiantly consider it. I would like to study
Maths, Science, DT and engineering.
We got a book from the Oxford University Press and a goody bag.
I would like to visit a University now.
