Recognise ‘one size doesn’t fit all’. • Fundamental research and arts and humanities can particularly struggle with blunt measurements of impact 3. Harness and build skills within institution; build your impact agency • Build impact literacy across the organisation 4. Engage not enrage • Impact is achievable but not simple. Value the effort as well as the result
