3. Fanciful After culmination of events, the leading actress will fall into a trance like state and awake to find herself in a woodland scene, enjoying her new found freedom. The concept behind our song choice lies within the sense of freedom it evokes, with lyrics such as ‘nothing in-between me and the rain’ and ‘you can’t hold me down’. These lyrics lend themselves to being interpreted in their literal form however our plan is to retain the elements of nature and whilst reinventing the original ‘break-up’ plot of the song. Our video narrative is based around two contrasting worlds, in a ‘Alice down the rabbit hole’ twist. We plan to begin with a night time city scene. This is representative of the lyric, ‘ No walls, Can keep me protected, No sleep’. It also symbolizes elements of darkness and crowdedness. 4. Location Inspired by Florence’s other videos, the majority of our filming will be done outside. We plan to take advantage of the archaic ruins and natural woodland around the area. We don’t want to incorporate any specific landmarks for the duration of the main body of the video. The reason behind this is to allow the video to remain timeless and therefore like the ‘Wonderland’ we want to create. A body of water is essential for our motif of a small paper boat, for this we plan to use a river. We have also accounted for the weather when filming outside, this will allow us to adapt our shots to various weather conditions.

9. Killer Shots Reverse Zoom: We plan to include a reverse zoom shot in the transition scene between city and wonderland to seamlessly blend the both worlds. Tracking Shot: This is crucial to the main theme of our video. It will track the small paper boat as it floats downstream. Close-ups: We will use various close-ups namely the face of the actress in order to convey the running sense of freedom. We’ll also use a close up of glitter jumping from the drums as they are hit. Pan: This will be our closing shot in order to portray her new found freedom as she dances across the beach.
