Wine has been use by a lot of
people to complement a
meal. However, most people
serve wine without knowing
the basics. Let’s take a look
on the basics of serving wine.
Using The Right Wine Glass
Knowing the right wine glass to fit
your drinking style will make the
wine taste better.
Wine May Taste Better When It Is
Slightly Cool
•Red wine – serve slightly cool from
53 to 69 °F.
•White Wine – taste better about 44
to 57 °F.
•Sparkling wine – taste great at 38 °F
to 45 °F.
Pour The Right Amount Of Wine
Usually, a bottle of wine contains
25 ounces. Portion wine into 5-6
ounce per serving.
Hold The Wine Glass Correctly
Hold the wine glass at the foot. Do
not cup the bowl because there is
a tendency that your hands will
heat up the wine.
Preserve The Wine Correctly
•Store opened wines in a fridge.
•Keep wine away from sunlight or
direct heat.
