Industry 4.0 vs 5.0 User Experience (UX) : From Mass
Customisation to Mass Personalisation
You explicitely specify what you want
Storing User preferences (user is what
he/she says to be)
It gives user explicit control
ex. Choosing which information might
be presented on your homepage
Generic feature level
It uses implicit interests and learns what
you like from your actions
Inducing User profile (user is what
he/she clicks and what he/she buys)
Getting information from preferences +
regular activities
Data served level
Cognitive Systems Strenghts :
Producing basic products
Following uniform/standard processes
Handling high production volumes
Customizing or personalizing each
and every product can be a
challenge for robots

Industry 5.0 – Human Centricity
●
Reconsider the strength of Human intelligence (Creative/Innovative, Critical, Systematic)
●
Bring back human touch in manufacturing processes
●
Human Wellbeing first
●
Keep core human needs and interests at the heart of the production process
●
Mass customisation of Customer eXperience
●
"win-win" interaction between industry and society
●
Benefit rather than threaten industry workers
●
Empowering workers, and keeping the working environment more inclusive
●
Consider
– Values and fundamental rights & principles, including : Respect for Privacy, Autonomy, Human
dignity and General Workers’ rights
– Implications of digitalisation for the future of work and welfare of individuals and society at large.
– Preconditions for a successful transition to Industry 5.0, among others pepare required skillset of
talents
– Impact of digitalised work environment on workers’safety, working conditions, job satisfaction and
physical and mental well-being ?

Industry 5.0 - Collaborative
●
Humans make mistakes on their own. By cognitive load, the amount of
information and parameters, the bias induced by excess emotion, the tactics of
imitating other decisions, erroneous analogies, etc.
●
Artificial Intelligence algorithms induce the rules of historical human decisions.
AI alone reproduces human errors.
●
Customizing or personalizing each and every product can be a challenge for
robots
●
Human Intelligence colloboration with cognitive systems
●
Human / Cognitive Systems Partneship, Human AI Hybridation, Cobots
●
Machines and humans would be working together in collaboration to improve
the efficiency of production
●
Explore the interaction between humans and robots and cobots in the
manufacturing context
●
looking into ways how to benefit from each of their strengths and how to
valorise human capital
●
use technology to adapt the production process to the needs of the worker

Cobots
●
Cobots will be extending industrial Robots (autonomous and human
agnostic) with a more sensitivity to human activities, and ready to
more interact with human being. Cobots should be smarter to
understand human, adapt to human logics and anticipate next
physical and digital actions.
●
Through a deep Anthropological Design Approach, Cobots should
understand complexity and nuances of human interactivity and
culture in order to leverage hybrid Human/AI intelligence
environment. Cobots will be augmented with more human natural
languages, human sentiment, humor, psychology analysis, 3D
human position and movements recognition, human face recognition,
etc.

Towards a digital reinvention in Morocco post-Covid :
citizen listening, proximity, transparency, equity & trust
