The purpose of teaching PDHPE in schools is to give students the opportunity to develop their knowledge, understandings, skills, confidence and competence in the different strands of PDHPE, which include interpersonal relationships, safe living, growth and development, games and sports, personal health choices, active lifestyle, and gymnastics and dance.

1. PDHPE
The purpose of teaching PDHPE in schools,
is to give all students the opportunity to
develop their knowledge, understandings,
skills, confidence and competence in the
different strands of PDHPE.

2.  I see students as individuals and believe in designing
lessons and activities that cater to the student’s
different learning styles and multiple intelligences.
 I believe in making learning experiences significant
to the students by making connections to the
student’s prior knowledge and identity.
 It is important to set expectations of what I want
from the students and get the students think about
what they want from each lesson
 My wish is that students will emerge from my
classroom as confident lifelong learners that have a
passion and enjoyment of their own education.
