Sexually transmitted infections are public health problems (syphilis,
gonorrhea, Chlamydia and trichomoniasis) occur annually throughout
the world mostly in people aged 15-49 years. This does not include HIV
and other STIs which continue to adversely affect the lives of
individuals and communities worldwide.
In Africa majority of these infections occur in low and middle income
countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. In Somaliland sexually transmitted
infections are public health problems with no easy solutions because
they are rooted in human behavior and are fundamental societal
problems

• Significance of the study
• This study gained valid knowledge, low practice and bad attitude
toward the effect of sexually transmitted diseases in young woman
(reproductive age) in addition it’s very important for public health issues.
