VACATION BENEFITS
In reply to your letter of 21 February 2015 re Vacation Benefits, I wish to inform you that you
are entitled to Full Benefits for yourself with effect from the first of January next year according
to the Terms and Conditions of your employment.
The maximum value of your benefits is $10 000.00 which is subject to Income Tax deductions
under the provision of the law. As a result, your maximum benefits will be calculated as follows:
a) Income Tax $4 572.39
b) Net Benefits $7 849.82
Your spouse shall also be entitled for Vacation Benefits in accordance with the Terms and
Conditions of your employment. In support of your claims, please forward documentary proof of
marriage:
1) Birth Certificate of spouse ( with affidavit where necessary)
2) Marriage Certificate
In making your claims you are reminded that:
1) The amount of your Vacation Benefits is calculated on an individual basis and it should
not exceed your allowances.
2) If the cost of your travel ticket id less than your Vacation Benefits allowance, the
company will pay the cost of your hotel accommodation to the amount of difference
between the cost of your travel ticket and your Vacation Benefits Allowance.
3) If the whole amount of your vacation Benefits Allowances not utilized, the remainder
cannot be used for any other purposes.
On completion of your arrangement for travel, please ask your Travel Agent to send me a cost
statement showing the following:

I will the despatch a Purchase Order to your Travel Agent who must forward me an invoice and a
copy of your electronic ticket(s) before I can make any payments.
Should it become necessary for you to change or cancel your travel arrangements, please inform
me so that the necessary action me be taken/ should you proceed on your vacation overseas, you
must submit your electronic tickets and the stubs from your boarding pass to the Human
Resources Department within one week of your resumption of duties for the completion of your
vacation records.

rom An intercommunication system is a set of intercom units
consisting of circuits, buttons, microphones, receivers and
sometimes handsets connecting to each other at different stations
(rooms of offices) of an organization. Each button bears the
name or number of a station (executive or administrative
assistant). An officer can call any single channel or conference with
multiple locations at once. The intercom unit also allows private
conversation between and 2 channels without disturbing the others. sp
bf Press Call to page another station (room or office). Press Talk to
communicate. Press Lock to audio monitor another room or office.
An intercom unit can be either analogue of digital.
stet There is also a door intercom unit. When a person presses the
buzzer at door, someone inside at the service station lifts the handset,
communicates with the person then releases the door lock
mechanism, if necessary, to allow the person to enter.
if With the digital system, the person presses the appropriate number
on the keypad and the officer designated to the number being called
will answer.

Minutes of Meeting
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the PCC was held at the Club House on Friday 10th
April, 2014.
Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Mr. John Knox, Chairman at 1300 hours.

Apologies for Absence – The secretary informed officers that Mrs. Angela Lall could not attend
because she was out if the country on business.
Minutes of Last Meeting – After the minutes of the last meeting held on December 12th, 2013
were read; Miss Remessar moved that they be adopted as correct.
They were seconded by Mrs. Gopaul.
Matters Rising from the Minutes – There were no matters arising from the minutes.
Correspondence – The secretary reported that Mr. Armagon had granted permission to use his
play field for the Annual Sports Meeting.
Sports Day – A sub-committee was informed to plan a programme and handle preliminary
arrangement – WR, FR, SS, AL.
Subscriptions – It was agreed to increase the subscriptions from $10.00 to $20.00.
AOB – The chairperson promised to discuss the cost and arrangements for the tour to Surinam
with JK’s Travel Agency.
Date of Next Meeting – The date of the next meeting was set for the first Friday of May, 2014.
Termination/Adjournment of Meeting – The chairperson declared the business of the meeting
closed at 1400 hours.

COMPANY LIMITED of Point Lisas Industrial Estate (hereinafter called 'the Employer') of the
one part and RAYMOND HUGGINS of Main Road Couva (herein after called 'the Employer')

WHEREBY Both the Employee Agree To the Following Terms and Conditions-------------------
1 Employee's Job Title Laborer -------------------------------------------------------------------
2 Hours and Days of Work the hours of work shall be from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM
Mondays through Fridays with half hour off for lunch 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM-------------------------
3 Basic Salary The basic salary shall not be lower than the minimum wage decreed by the
Government
4 Duration of Contract The contract shall initially be for a minimum period of two years
commencing Thirteenth day of February Two Thousand and Fourteen---------------------------
5 Attendance the Employee shall report to work on time and swipe his card on arrival and
on departure
6 Leave The Employer shall inform the Employee of his leave entitlement--------------------
7 Absence/Late The Employee shall inform his supervisor in advance or call in the
morning on the day if he shall be late or absent------------------------------------------------------------
The Employee shall supply a medical certificate if he should be absent for more than two
consecutive days------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Employee shall be given an oral warning if he is late on more than two consecutive days and
if he continues to be late he shall be given written warning after which he shall be suspended
without pay------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 Overtime When the Employer requests the Employee to work overtime the rate of pay
shall be one and a half times the basic pay------------------------------------------------------------------
9 Insurance The Employer shall register the Employee with the National Insurance
Board-
10 Payment The Employer shall pay the Employee on the last Friday of every fortnight
through the Employee's bank-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11 Deductions The Employer shall deduct from the Employee's pay contributions for the
National Insurance Board and the Board of Inland Revenue---------------------------------------------

Correspondence – The secretary reported that Mr. Armagon had granted permission to use his play field for the Annual Sports Meeting. Sports Day – A sub-committee was informed to plan a programme and handle preliminary arrangement – WR, FR, SS, AL. Subscriptions – It was agreed to increase the subscriptions from $10.00 to $20.00. AOB – The chairperson promised to discuss the cost and arrangements for the tour to Surinam with JK’s Travel Agency.
