This document summarizes an AI agent developed for the Ants multiplayer strategy game. The agent uses a collaborative diffusion model where the map is the only object that computes diffusion values for agents like food on each square, rather than using traditional pathfinding. The agent was tested against the #1 ranked bot, Xathis, which uses breadth-first search, and performed reasonably well in sample games on different map types with varying numbers of food and spawn points.
