  2. 2. • Simple black and white colour scheme • Song in a list in the middle of the album back • Same fonts used throughout • Record label and logo • Copyright text at the bottom of the text • Everything is central including the text • Producer
  3. 3. • Song list at the left of the back • Barcode ay the top right • Record label • Copyright text • Producers • Simple black and yellow colour scheme • Colour scheme is consistent with front cover • Very simple colour scheme
  4. 4. • Songs list is on the right of the album • Songs have the length of the song • Simple colour scheme • Simple image • Barcode • Record label and logo • Copyright text
  5. 5. To conclude: The conventions of a back cover for a album are very simple, the main features are: • All songs feature on the album in a list • Simple colour scheme that fits with the front cover of the album • Barcode • Record label and logo • Copyright small print at the bottom of the back • Track number next to the track However what is not clear from looking at different front covers is, many of the backs have the track list in a different position, for example one is central, one is to the left and the other to the right. This means that it does not matter where your track list is placed on as it differs from album to album. Some albums also feature the song length next to the song, this is unconventional as I only saw it on a few back covers.
