Central Kentucky Toastmasters are members of the Bluegrass Division of District 40 (effective July 1, 2009), part of Toastmasters International, a world leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience. The geography of the new Bluegrass Division is depicted herein.
2. What’s Happening!
Divide current Mountain Division into two new divisions:
(Bluegrass and East Mountain)
Move Areas 41 and 42 into the new Bluegrass Division
Add a new Area 43
Re-assign clubs in Areas 41 and 42
Install three Area Governors and Division Governor (July)
3. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• DIVISIONS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 AREAS
– Areas 41 and 42 (comprised of 12 clubs) need to be
realigned into Areas 41, 42 and 43 (evenly and
equitably)
• AREAS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4 CLUBS
– Divide the 12 clubs into three areas of 4 clubs
– Go from Two Areas (Six Clubs each) to Three Areas
(Four Clubs Each)
