DIVIDED INTO TWO CATEGORIES ÆSIR AND
VANIR
Æsir is the term
denoting a
member of the
principal pantheon
in the indigenous
European religion
known as Norse
paganism.
Vanir are a group of
gods associated
with fertility, wisdom
and the ability to see
the future.
3. ÆSIR
ODIN: is considered the chief god of
Norse Mythology. He is the god of
wisdom, war and death, magic,
poetry, prophecy, victory and the
hunt.
4. ÆSIR
FRIGG: is a major goddess in Norse
paganism, a subset of Germanic
paganism. She is said to be the wife
of Odin, and is the "foremost among
the goddesses" and the queen of
Asgard.
5. ÆSIR
THOR: is a hammer-wielding god associated
with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees,
strength, the protection of mankind, and also
hallowing, healing and fertility.
6. ÆSIR
BALDER: is a god and the second son of
Odin. Also quoted in some sources as
Baeldaeg proto, which allegedly refers to an
ancient Scandis a god and the second son of
Odin.
7. ÆSIR
TYR: is a god associated with law and heroic
glory in Norse mythology, portrayed as one-
handed.
8. VANIR
Njörðr: is the god of the fertile land and from
the sea coast, as well as nautical and
navigation.
10. VANIR
Freyja: is described as the goddess of love,
beauty and fertility. People's invoked for
happiness in love, assist in childbirth and to
have good seasons.
