9/11 Descriptive Writing
The applause of lightning shakes me to the very core, the anticipation of what's to come and
more. The pelting liquids, washing our sins away. Blocks of destruction tower over the flat rock
where the toxic monsters prowl and roar. My black bag feels heavy against my pale, numb
fingers. My damp hair sticks to my itchy neck, red with my groping long nails. Red bricks, wet
and blurry, dark pavements, moist and slippery. Everything was doused in this unforgiving cold
attack. Middle class shops were placed everywhere, conveniently providing shelter. Dark leaves
shuddered violently against the harsh winds, birds no longer poised and positioned on long
branches, where they used to sing. Click, clack. Click, clack. My shoes let out a silent echo...show

A knife had grazed it, given the thinness and deepness of it. A sharp one I suppose. If the victim
was killed, then the killer might have at least disposed of the body. Another possibility is that he
was in a rush, or someone caught him in the act. I picked up a brush, careful not to disturb the
precious DNA contained in the delicate dark hairs. Bringing a knife to the fight, that's unfair,
looks like the murderer took flight after blood was spilled. I grab the bottle that I refilled, took a big
swig, and set it down on a dark wood coffee

Descriptive Essay
It was a seemingly beautiful day as I drove on a joy ride in my bright blue sports car, with the
wind in my hair. This is an everyday activity for me. My friends would mock me saying, "You
spend more money on gas than you make working." I laughed to myself at the thought of jokes
amongst my friends. That happiness was soon halted. As I continued driving, I saw a car coming
rapidly around the curve. The car did not show any signs of slowing down as it headed towards the
intersection. The light turned yellow and then quickly red. Another object caught my eye that made
me fear what was going to happen next. A young couple started crossing the street wearing fancy
attire. The first thought that came to mind was, 'they are...show more content...
One of the police officers came up to me introduced himself, asked me my name and started, "Have
you ever seen this driver before? On the road or around town?" I quickly responded, "No, I have not
officer." He continued, "I learned from the call back to the station that the driver, David Chrisenger,
is considered the town drunk and does not currently have a valid license due to drinking and
driving". He asked me some questions and asked me to fill out an incident report. Still shaken up by
the whole incident I gladly accepted. The officer ended our conversation. "Thank you so much for
your time, Kevin. We really appreciate it."
The only thought running through my head on my way home was how much I had not
appreciated my wife and children. To witness something of that nature makes one conscientious
about what you have and how quickly it could vanish. I vowed after that day to speak out against
drinking and driving and the terrible outcomes that can transpire from something that some do
not view as a "big deal". It is apparent that better ways have to be found for getting drunk drivers off
the road. I encourage anyone to be responsible for their lives and others by agreeing to never drink
and drive again, and to also aid your family and friends in doing so. Have a designated driver each
night or call a cab. Everyone is capable of saving a

Outline For Disease Essay
Disease is based in fact and is objective, and is not based on the values of the day.
I.Argument for Position
1) A disease is not an illness, and the distinction between the two is very important.
a) A disease is defined as an unhealthy condition or a condition that affects the functioning of the
body. For example, the flu, which causes fever, muscle aches, headache, fatigue, and other similar
cold–like symptoms.
b) On the other hand, an illness is normative; it does not disrupt biological functions. At one time, it
was thought that being left–handed was a disease, but this would have instead been an illness.
c) To name a new disease, you must have evidence that it is what is causing the patient's problems.
To simply scramble together all the symptoms one is experiencing into one large amalgamation with
no...show more content...
Counterargument
1) Disease is when one deviates from the norm, and is based on our values of the time.
a) One should aspire to be an ideal person. We judge what is significant and insignificant in terms of
health, which is determined by our values (Englehardt 234).
b) Our values are relatively constant, and do not change as much as people think. We often say one
thing, but one the inside, many do not believe what they are saying.
2) An example of a disease would be masturbation. It causes a multitude of symptoms, and can even
cause death.
a) Commonly in medicine, several symptoms are grouped together into a disease. One of these
examples is masturbation. Some of its symptoms include epilepsy, loss of hearing, and physical
changes in the genitalia, and the loss of seminal fluid exaggerates these symptoms, as one ounce of
the fluid is equal to forty ounces of blood (Englehardt 236).
b) There were treatments for the disease, such as a change in diet, exercise, and acupuncture, among
others (245). They worked as in the example of the doctor, who had chosen to be castrated because
his addiction to masturbation had kept him from the outside world for seven

Research Paper On Disneyland
Ever heard of this place called Disneyland? Yes, that huge phenomenon that every little child loves
and even teenagers and adults love. Where there is these amazing rides and every Disney character
you can think of is there! You probably know it as this amazing place that everyone loves and there
is no wrong! Or maybe parents even know Disneyland from taking their child there so maybe they
could get their energy taken out!
But little do you know is that this place has a very darker side than we really know. We believe
this place is so innocent and so nice and peaceful but we are wrong. This place is haunted and most
people don 't even know this.
Have you gone to Disneyland and feel maybe a chill even though there was no wind? Or a...show

The Monorail: The Monorail seems the least place to be haunted but some people don 't even know
about the death of this poor innocent 19 year–old boy. You know how teenage boys are, always
getting in trouble and fooling around. Little did this 19 year–old boy know that his fooling around
might be the cause of his death. This boy decided to come to Grad Night, which is where high
school graduates can come into Disneyland after hours as much as they want. Well he decided to
play on the Monorail and the security guard already told him a lot of times to "get off this because
it's very dangerous". Well they boy decided not to listen and his consequences were getting dragged
30–40 feet just right before the train came to a stop. Many heard rumors about that late at night
some after hour workers would see a young man walking the Monorail tracks just where this 19
year–old boy died. They would say they would look up and see the boy for a split second and then
all of a sudden, he just disappears. Don't believe it's haunted yet, just wait till the next story!
The Most Haunted Mansion Ever:
Everyone knows Disneyland 's Mansion! It's only the most known places in Disneyland and also
known as the most Haunted Mansion. Of course people would believe that it's haunted because, I

Outline For Abortion Research Paper
Descriptive: Abortion is the termination of an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. It is a
controversial issue affecting our society and raises ethical issues. Abortions can be performed
before nine weeks from the last menstrual period and is performed either surgically with the
removal of the fetus or medically with drugs. From nine weeks until 14 weeks, an abortion is
performed by a dilatation and suction curettage procedure. After 14 weeks, abortions are then
performed by an evacuation procedure. After 20 weeks of gestation, abortions can be performed by
labor induction, prostaglandin labor induction, saline infusion, hysterectomy, or dilatation and
extraction.

Imagine a small, dull colored room where the windows are closed off and inside lies a single
medical bed with pointy silver objects surrounding it. The coldness of the room gives you chills
but not because of the temperature. Even more chilling are the internal struggles a woman will
have to fight through. Does she want to do this? No, she just feels like it is her only choice. She
reluctantly enters the room where she will experience a moment that she will never be able to
erase from her mind. For the rest of her life, she will be left wondering if she made the right
choice. The doctor disrupts her internal questioning with a casual greeting. He does not smile when
he introduces himself and she is glad about this because how twisted it would be to show any sign
of joy in a place such as this. She

Descriptive Essay About Myself
With my green plastic safety scissors from my pencil case, I hid under the craft table in my living
room and sawed off my blonde bangs until there were only millimeter long blonde sprigs of hair left
sticking from the top of my forehead.
This was just the first of many times that I tried to change my appearance to escape the shadow of
my sister and become my own unique person.
At the age of four, I lacked any formal hairdresser education so my DIY haircut forced me to wear
many wide headbands to hide the hideous sprigs of butchered hair, but in my mind my mission was
successful, because I finally looked different than my sister.
Anna, my identical twin, looks exactly like me, except for the odd freckle, our slightly different
nose structures and the slight chip on her upper left tooth. I can always tell us apart so I hardly
notice that I basically have a clone following me around all the time, but for others knowing which
twin I am proves challenging. It didn't help when my mom dressed in matching outfits from head
to toe. For my first Halloween my brother dressed up like a firefighter and Anna and I were his
dalmatians, then he was a farmer and we were pigs.
When we turned five we decided to pick out our own clothes. In kindergarten Anna and I decided
that she would only wear pink, purple and orange while my wardrobe would only contain blue,
green and yellow clothing. This color coding system worked for the next five years and from my

Descriptive Essay About Animals
Animals are my favorite things in the world! Me and my family had an amazing trip to Wild
Wonders, where I saw and pet so many adorable animals that live there. My family includes my
mom, my dad, my brothers Jackson and Gavin, and my cousins, Kyra and Lily. We went to wild
wonders on a hot and sunny day. The sky was clear baby blue, dotted with the occasional fluffy
white cloud. Wild Wonders is in Bonsall, California. I grew a lot from that trip, and I learned a
valuable lesson. In the beginning, I drive for quite a while. The wind is whipping my long blonde
hair around in my face, and my brown eyes are twinkling with excitement. I look out my window
at the constantly changing landscape. One minute I see a large grove of short and stubby avocado
trees growing off the side of a mountain, the next minute I see red brick houses and tall buildings
stretching on and on in the sea I call a city. "Wow, Wyatt, I'm so excited! I cannot wait to get there."
I hear my cousin's voice and I turn around and see her smiling face. She looks almost exactly like
me, but with way more freckles and she has a girl's facial structure. "Yeah. I'm also really excited,
Lily," I agree. "I can't believe we waited for so long and it's finally here." While me and Lily talk
about what animals we think are going to be there, Jackson, Gavin, and Kyra all play the cheesy car
games "Would You Rather" and "Truth or Dare" and "I Spy". Lily is 10, I'm 11, Jackson and Kyra
are 13 and 14, and Gavins 15. We

Great waves toss and turn with great force. Rushing as they collide with the earth soaking the soft
sand. The ocean seemed to be howling as every wave grew as tall as a mountain. Slowly, the
water creeps forward, then lazily seeping back in the vast ocean, only to do the same over and
over again. The deep sea is a mysterious place where sea creatures lurk beneath the waves. Blue,
sparkling water is everywhere you look with no end. The humming waves seem to whisper as if
telling me the most confidential secret. You can never really hear them clearly until you dive in
deeper and deeper. I breathe in the warm air as I gaze out at my beautiful home. So wide I'm not
even certain I've seen all it's beauty that lies beneath. I can see the shadows of tiny fish swimming
above the soft sand. They are so small they look as though they are microscopic. I reach down and
run my hands through the wet substance that is so thick that my muscles grow tired the deeper
my hand goes. As I lift my hand up, the sand makes a cloud of powder, slowly drifting through the
water. The waters are so calm as though nothing could anger them. Each wave slowly rocking
back and forth to the rhythm of the sea. I lower my fins beneath the water and a coolness rushes
through me as I feel the cold, wet water. The soft breeze brushes against my skin with the scent of
an indescribable satisfaction. Hours passed as the warmth of the sun seemed to just soak into my
skin and relax my mind. As the day goes on, it

Descriptive Essay On An Island
The first thing that hit me was the sound. The sounds of birds, the sound of the sea crawling onto
the sand. I felt million grains of sand underneath my feet and the cool breeze against my face.
Moreover, the tantalizing scent of the washed–up waves, coconut, and pineapple are all mixed into
one. As I opened my eyes, I was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that
moment. It was like continuing a dream after waking up. So I dragged myself up and turn my
head to the east. While the sky in the opposite direction was still dark, the dawn on the east side
already broke. A mixture of yellow and orange on the horizon beneath a dark neon blue ocean of
night had begun to peek out. As the sun continuously rose, all of the purple and deep blue faded
away, and the sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining so very blindingly beautiful.
After I watched the sunrise, my mood lifted. Notwithstanding, I still feel threatened for I got
trapped on an island. I stood there for a moment and tried to figure out how I got to this island. A
series of quick flashback of a shipwreck, and a big storm. Consequently, I have a severe headache, so
I decided to sit down in the sand. While sitting down, I observe the island and find that I was
surrounded by water and some other islands. The water around the island was as clear as crystal,
to the point I can see the depths of the sea. Again, I dragged myself up and turn to the back; it
seemed like a tropical paradise. There were multitudes of greenery, lush foliage that looked like they
were painted on.
I walk deeper into the island. Nowhere, the sound of the birds started to raise up. It brought
freedom and happiness to the mind. Beautiful flowers in reds, yellows, purples, and pinks lounged
happily along the banks of small streams. Following the streams, it allowed me to hear the playful
sound of the water lapping on the rocks, and the sound of leaves rustling when the wind blew
gently, bringing with it a feeling of peace and tranquility. Continuing through the trees, my stomach
started growling like a monster who is ready to eat its prey. Accordingly, the smell of fruits
suddenly arises on my left side so I made my way toward the fruity smell,

Descriptive Essay On Farm
Autumn On A Farm
Growing up on a farm, as a kid, during the fall, felt so magical, it is what I picture Hogwarts must
feel like. I lived in a red–brick house with a bumpy, gravel driveway as long as the Nile. The house
always smelled of cinnamon, due to my mom always baking and dirty kids, due to my messy
brothers and I. My favorite memories, in that house, took place, during the fall, with our animals, in
our kitchen and being outside and looking at the night sky.
Living on a farm and being homeschooled, my brothers and I were expected to do a bunch of
helping out. Luckily for me, I have always been a morning person and enjoyed waking up at the
crack of dawn to do my chores. Most of my time, before I even had had breakfast, I would be
outside, breathing the cool autumn air and would make my way to the barn to feed the animals. We
had twenty–four animals in total: eight chickens, three cows, two horses, five pigs, three dogs and
a goat. The early morning air, mixed with the smell of coffee brewing that came from a cracked
open window and the hay from our old, wooden barn made me ecstatic. The clear, morning sky
and feeling the autumn breeze underneath my jacket brought comfort to my heart. I loved
everything about being able to breathe in the fresh, crispy air as I walked to the barn. When I
would get there, I would be greeted with the smell of horse mane and chicken manure. This was my
least favorite part of the morning. The animals would be excited to see me because they

Descriptive Essay On My Dream House
Everyone has a "dream house", they just rely on your opinions and beliefs. You can have a
modern dream house, or maybe a vintage dream house. You can also either live in the woods, in
the city, or even right by the beach! You can be by yourself, or you can have lots and lots of
roommates. You can have lots of neighbors, or maybe even none at all! You could live off of a
mountain, or maybe on a paved street. First of all, my house would be in the woods, away from
everyone else. I would also live in a modern looking log cabin. It has always been a dream of mine
to live in a log cabin. I also want to live in a modern house, so if you mix the two together, that
would just be perfect for me. I think that if you live in the woods, which is secluded from
everyone else, with a few friends, life would be perfect. My house would be a two story, modern
looking log cabin with lights all around the outside so it would look beautiful at night. I would
also have 4 roommates. They would all be my best friends and we would have lots and lots of fun
in our house. My roommates' names are Kian, Jc, Franny, and Bobby. They are all people that I
would have the most fun living with. Kian, Jc, and Bobby are all boys while Franny and I would
be the only girls. Sometimes, two guys named Harrison and Anderson would live with us for about
a month to two months at a time. They would also be really fun to live with, and would basically be
roommates. I think these people would be the best roommates

Descriptive Essay On My Neighborhood
My neighborhood is unlike any other neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. I truly feel like I am
at home and connected with the people in my community. Being in a different neighborhood when
visiting my friend's home or a family member's, causes a disconnect within myself. I do not feel the
same friendly atmosphere, outside my home I see houses on the same street, but no community. I
comprehensibly feel displaced because it is it not an area I value. The surroundings of a different
neighborhood is not significant to me. Despite my unfamiliarity, my observations I notice the
difference between my community and my friends or family member's. In other neighborhoods,
neighbors lack to know the basics of one another, something simple such...show more content...
Courage has been beneficial because, I am not shy or afraid to meet new people and socialize. I
gained confidence within myself because I do not feel awkward in social situations. Furthermore,
my neighborhood has shaped me into a charismatic person; it is helpful when encountering social
relationships outside of my surroundings.
Aside from the personal lessons, I have been influenced to be festive. During most celebrated
holiday such as: Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas, my neighborhood embraces their
excitement with beautiful decorations. According to the article Social Cohesiveness, Territoriality,
and Holiday Decorations by Barbara Brown and Carol Werner, observations on holiday decorations
were done on a whole block during Halloween and Christmas; the analyses indicated that attitudes
and behaviors combined to reflect degrees of neighborhood attachment, and neighborhood ties were
stronger. In a sense, it makes me believe my neighbors unite to beautify our neighborhood streets
while sharing common traditions, such as a Christmas tree or the birth of Jesus arrangement.
Holidays are my favorite time of the year, because I love to see the streets of my home filled with
jolly spirit. Around Christmas, I drive block by block to admire the lovely decorations. The sound
of celebration and the smell of festive meals fill the atmosphere. Supermarkets are crowed than ever,
parking lots, and traffic is so congested, but I feel satisfied seeing my neighborhood

Descriptive Essay About The Ocean
Nevertheless, the comforting white clouds began to stretch and darken swirling themselves into a
silvery metallic vortex. Majestic and alive a giant eye looked down upon me, with a menacing
gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to mere insignificance within its
domain, and more important business for itself. My tiny body amid this vast strange universe,
staring at the gunmetal clouds, overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before.
Otherworldly, the impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells, and with it this time – the
smell of death. It hit like a copper truck slamming into me creating a hole to dump its load of
rotten eggs, human waste, cheap perfume, and rotting meat forcing my cells to explode from the
inside out. It ignited a force of nausea in me so strong my head jerked and I blew out blood, vomit,
and a silvery black ooze into my regulator. I kept purging the exhaust valve of excess blood, vomit,
and liquid metal. The distinct smell of death became a taste I couldn't expel. An unholy taste of
metallic death. The opposite spinning double waves kept moving through me, shattering my core
with its opposing directions.
Bright, iridescent metallic flashes outlined every wave's form; inside an internal beast of hematite
black. But why? Why is the ocean changing? The ocean, my friend? Into what, and what was it
changing me into? I tried to grasp it as if it was on the tip of my tongue, but it wasn't, I couldn't know

Descriptive Essay On Dystopia
Dystopian Setting
The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever,
was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning
breeze felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of
despair lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his
utopia. Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall? No one knew.
Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the
bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy
and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look.
The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this
abandoned land was the taste of burnt garlic. The screams and cries of terror undistinguishable
between beast and human fill the ears of the last ones living. The sky, which was lit by the glow of
fires, is grey and empty. Decaying bodies and...show more content...

black ash like smoke. Aggressively, the wind walked past the building with its cruddy feeling,
blowing away all signs of life. Deeper and deeper into the land was a burning car door. The fire
roared and crackled. The roaring and crackling of the burning car door merged with the aggressive
air and created the loudest sounds ever heard on land. Growing darker, the skies made me feel
nauseous. The fear of not waking up if a human fell asleep towered

Descriptive Essay On A Morning
Mornings just great. Us early birds have the gift of watching the world around us come back to
life after being so tired. We all know most people don't like mornings simply because it interrupts
sleep. Yeah, something you can do when you're dead. I turned to the window delighted to see a
bright gray sky; just one giant cloud covering that asshole of a sun so it can't burn my skin and
give me cancer. Sure, your idea of a beautiful day might include blue skies and fairies, but I never
asked you. Today was.... Friday. Nothing special going on, so I'd have the regular classes.
I threw on a black t–shirt and skinny jeans that were slung over my crappy desk chair and ran my
fingers through my hair to work out any rats while making my way through a dim hallway to the
kitchen. My house is just one big dim hallway with rooms.
"Hey." My mom was already at work in the kitchen as always. She had the same dazed expression on
her face as she did every morning as she did her tedious mom–chores. Every day she had to wash
dishes, do laundry, cook food, pick up stuff around the house, etc.
She set down a plate with a small cinnamon roll drenched in white icing out on the table:"Here, eat
this before you leave."
"Nah."
"You need to eat something for breakfast, it's not good to skip meals." She nagged.
"Says who?"
"Says me. I read somewhere about it; they did quite a few studies on it."
"Hn, Bye." The screen door slammed shut before my mother could finish her pointless lecture. I
wasn't going to be late for school because of a cinnamon roll.
Most kids get their parents to drive them nowadays, but walking is a perfect opportunity for some
alone–time. People can just come find and interrupt my reveries even in my own home, but when I
walk, I'm traveling, and no one's going to try and catch up to me. Just thoughts, music, and burly
trees looming over cracked sidewalks. For the most part, it's a peaceful yet uneventful journey.
Other than dogs occasionally carrying on or people leaving early for work, there are almost no
interruptions.

tracks. Somehow, I couldn't help but smile during moments like these. Soon the train

Descriptive Essay On A Portrait
Before I explain the portrait I have made of myself it is important to ask, "What exactly is a
portrait?" A typical portrait is a piece of art that's purpose is to depict one's likeness. Typically
portraits are made through using paint, photography and sculptures but really can be made
through any medium. But portraits can be so much more than just a physical representation of
someone. A portrait can depict someone without having their physical features in it, it can even
be something that typically people don't see like sound and music. Whether it be a quilt, a
mixtape, or just a single dot on a paper, it can mean something that reflects someone through who
they are. While capturing a physical representation of someone may show emotion and some
personality to them it only scratches the surface when there are so many more details to be
uncovered about them. I think displaying one's self in ways other than their physical form has a
stronger connection as a portrait. My portrait consists of two layers and when put together makes
the whole piece. I started out by digitally painting a literal self portrait since that is what a lot of
people would think of when they see the word "portrait". After digitally painting myself as how I'm
physically seen I made a second part featuring a black space blocking out my face only leaving an
outline of my face. Inside the black space I created a web of blue lines filling in the black space on
my head which extends over non blacked

Descriptive Essay Of A Restaurant
Once I stepped inside the restaurant I automatically could hear the music playing at a moderate
level and the laughter of the customers. Right off the back the restaurant's ambiance had a positive
vibe. Mindful, it was a Saturday late afternoon. Mary Jane Burger and Brew is a local restaurant
trying to stay true to its past. The granddaughter of the original owner now runs the place with the
intention of serving good quality food where the ingredients are fresh, mouth watering, and surely
not filled with antibiotics and all that other genetically modified elements found in processed foods.
The vintage, rustic looking place, holds a small town atmosphere with a big taste.
The host sat my sister and I at a table in the middle of the dining area. A giant window let sunlight
flood into the room and the speakers provided a good backdrop of music to help engage
conversation. The restaurant itself seems fairly modern: leather seating, dark wood tables, and
mason jar for glasses. It is the epitome of a hang out spot for any teen, millennial, or elder
meetup. The staff caters to the needs of the customers and are always ready to help out in any
way possible. I started the meal off with a glass of sweet tea that never made it lower then the
halfway point. The waitress was always there with a pitcher of their home brewed sweet tea. The
tea itself was not too sweet, it had the subtle taste of the bitterness that tea should have. In other
words it did not taste like someone dumped a bag

Descriptive Essay About Spaghetti
Did you have any food obsessions as a kid, and eat the same thing continually?
Ordinarily, the one meal I am willing to kill over is spaghetti. The one person who comes to mind
when I think about spaghetti is my grandmother. Her sauce is as thick as her history and the many
layers to the dish represent the transitions she has had all throughout her life. Spaghetti is my go–to
meal for heartaches, stress, and happiness. I can 't just eat anyone 's spaghetti or any type of
spaghetti. First, it has to be my Mammaw 's (grandmother) spaghetti because she adds the perfect
amount of sugar and love into her infamous sauce.

Eating half naked sounds weird, well it is weird, but that just shows you the closeness of our
relationship. I 'm obsessed with spaghetti, it 's the best carbs a girl could get her hands on.
For instance, when my grandmother is cooking her infamous spaghetti, the whole neighborhood
knows because you can smell the sauce from outside of the house. We use to stay in a small
shotgun house and since there was poor ventilation, she would cook with the door open. Well, we
had to stop that because neighbors would beg like no tomorrow for a plate of food, the same
neighbors who wouldn 't even lend you a cup of sugar if your life depended on it. Moreover, the
downfall of her cooking without the door open is that my mouth would hang to the floor the whole
time the meal was being prepared because I would be mesmerized.
When she cooks, she seduces you and the aromas pull moans from the bottom of your belly. I
remember this one time my nose got me in trouble. My nose grew feet and walked me to the
kitchen where I saw the spaghetti cooling off on the counter, I figured one or three spoonfuls of
the sauce would hurt, well I was wrong. The sauce was so hot on my tongue that tears came out of
my eyes. I screamed and screamed until my grandmother came in the kitchen. She said, " Girl what
in the hell is wrong with you?"
I mumbled, "Mawmaw my tongue is on fire."
She giggled,"Fatty butt, you couldn 't wait, I 've told you too many times to not to open my pots,"
she 's really strict

Descriptive Essay About Soccer
Soccer. fast moving, strategy, competitive, I loved those aspects in the game. In the month of
March, when all the soccer tryouts began, I decided to try out for an older team which was 2 years
older–my brother's team– just for fun. I went out on the day of the trial and surprisingly, I made the
team. Feeling as if I had won the million dollar lottery, filled with excitement, on the side with fear
because there were boys who were enormous and strong on my team. The only reason they were
bigger, because I was 2 years younger. It was the first game of the season. It was also the first
game for me being on the team. It was the scared moment of my life, all at once. But I knew it
would be fun because I'll improve more rapidly than I would, playing in my age group. Tweet!!
the game began. 22 powerful bodies on the field. I was not the starting line of players because I
was the younger one and the new one on the team. I knew, in order for me to be the starting
player, I needed to prove to my coach that I am capable of being the starting line. My brother was
the starting player, not because he was better than me, but he had been on the team longer. He played
the same positions as me– left wing– so every time I would have to substitute in for him when he got
tired. I didn't have as much time to play as the others did. With great deals of struggle and going
to each practice with the team. I was determined. Arriving 30 minutes earlier, for extra warm up
and be in the state of mine that I was in the game. Every 2 days, going to the gym to workout so I
could gain bigger and stronger than the older dudes I played with. Beautifully, with all the
self–development skills and techniques, I was in the best shape of my life. Achieving smaller
different goals while aiming for the main one. One shot and multiple kills. As the time passed, I
was halfway through the season. Nevertheless, I expanded immensely and exceptionally. I could
feel it and I could absolutely trust my feelings. I didn't stop there yet. I wanted to aim higher. I
wanted to fly like the birds. I wanted to be the best. Being the starting line of player, the captain of
the team. That was only possible if I was to train more and do everything that was cruisel

Descriptive Essay Outline

  • 1. 9/11 Descriptive Writing The applause of lightning shakes me to the very core, the anticipation of what's to come and more. The pelting liquids, washing our sins away. Blocks of destruction tower over the flat rock where the toxic monsters prowl and roar. My black bag feels heavy against my pale, numb fingers. My damp hair sticks to my itchy neck, red with my groping long nails. Red bricks, wet and blurry, dark pavements, moist and slippery. Everything was doused in this unforgiving cold attack. Middle class shops were placed everywhere, conveniently providing shelter. Dark leaves shuddered violently against the harsh winds, birds no longer poised and positioned on long branches, where they used to sing. Click, clack. Click, clack. My shoes let out a silent echo...show more content... A knife had grazed it, given the thinness and deepness of it. A sharp one I suppose. If the victim was killed, then the killer might have at least disposed of the body. Another possibility is that he was in a rush, or someone caught him in the act. I picked up a brush, careful not to disturb the precious DNA contained in the delicate dark hairs. Bringing a knife to the fight, that's unfair, looks like the murderer took flight after blood was spilled. I grab the bottle that I refilled, took a big swig, and set it down on a dark wood coffee Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Descriptive Essay Descriptive Essay It was a seemingly beautiful day as I drove on a joy ride in my bright blue sports car, with the wind in my hair. This is an everyday activity for me. My friends would mock me saying, "You spend more money on gas than you make working." I laughed to myself at the thought of jokes amongst my friends. That happiness was soon halted. As I continued driving, I saw a car coming rapidly around the curve. The car did not show any signs of slowing down as it headed towards the intersection. The light turned yellow and then quickly red. Another object caught my eye that made me fear what was going to happen next. A young couple started crossing the street wearing fancy attire. The first thought that came to mind was, 'they are...show more content... One of the police officers came up to me introduced himself, asked me my name and started, "Have you ever seen this driver before? On the road or around town?" I quickly responded, "No, I have not officer." He continued, "I learned from the call back to the station that the driver, David Chrisenger, is considered the town drunk and does not currently have a valid license due to drinking and driving". He asked me some questions and asked me to fill out an incident report. Still shaken up by the whole incident I gladly accepted. The officer ended our conversation. "Thank you so much for your time, Kevin. We really appreciate it." The only thought running through my head on my way home was how much I had not appreciated my wife and children. To witness something of that nature makes one conscientious about what you have and how quickly it could vanish. I vowed after that day to speak out against drinking and driving and the terrible outcomes that can transpire from something that some do not view as a "big deal". It is apparent that better ways have to be found for getting drunk drivers off the road. I encourage anyone to be responsible for their lives and others by agreeing to never drink and drive again, and to also aid your family and friends in doing so. Have a designated driver each night or call a cab. Everyone is capable of saving a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Outline For Disease Essay Disease is based in fact and is objective, and is not based on the values of the day. I.Argument for Position 1) A disease is not an illness, and the distinction between the two is very important. a) A disease is defined as an unhealthy condition or a condition that affects the functioning of the body. For example, the flu, which causes fever, muscle aches, headache, fatigue, and other similar cold–like symptoms. b) On the other hand, an illness is normative; it does not disrupt biological functions. At one time, it was thought that being left–handed was a disease, but this would have instead been an illness. c) To name a new disease, you must have evidence that it is what is causing the patient's problems. To simply scramble together all the symptoms one is experiencing into one large amalgamation with no...show more content... Counterargument 1) Disease is when one deviates from the norm, and is based on our values of the time. a) One should aspire to be an ideal person. We judge what is significant and insignificant in terms of health, which is determined by our values (Englehardt 234). b) Our values are relatively constant, and do not change as much as people think. We often say one thing, but one the inside, many do not believe what they are saying. 2) An example of a disease would be masturbation. It causes a multitude of symptoms, and can even cause death. a) Commonly in medicine, several symptoms are grouped together into a disease. One of these examples is masturbation. Some of its symptoms include epilepsy, loss of hearing, and physical changes in the genitalia, and the loss of seminal fluid exaggerates these symptoms, as one ounce of the fluid is equal to forty ounces of blood (Englehardt 236). b) There were treatments for the disease, such as a change in diet, exercise, and acupuncture, among others (245). They worked as in the example of the doctor, who had chosen to be castrated because his addiction to masturbation had kept him from the outside world for seven Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Research Paper On Disneyland Ever heard of this place called Disneyland? Yes, that huge phenomenon that every little child loves and even teenagers and adults love. Where there is these amazing rides and every Disney character you can think of is there! You probably know it as this amazing place that everyone loves and there is no wrong! Or maybe parents even know Disneyland from taking their child there so maybe they could get their energy taken out! This place is haunted and most people don 't even know this. Have you gone to Disneyland and feel maybe a chill even though there was no wind? Or a...show more content... The Monorail: The Monorail seems the least place to be haunted but some people don 't even know about the death of this poor innocent 19 year–old boy. You know how teenage boys are, always getting in trouble and fooling around. Little did this 19 year–old boy know that his fooling around might be the cause of his death. This boy decided to come to Grad Night, which is where high school graduates can come into Disneyland after hours as much as they want. Well he decided to play on the Monorail and the security guard already told him a lot of times to "get off this because it's very dangerous". Well they boy decided not to listen and his consequences were getting dragged 30–40 feet just right before the train came to a stop. Many heard rumors about that late at night some after hour workers would see a young man walking the Monorail tracks just where this 19 year–old boy died. They would say they would look up and see the boy for a split second and then all of a sudden, he just disappears. Don't believe it's haunted yet, just wait till the next story! The Most Haunted Mansion Ever: Everyone knows Disneyland 's Mansion! It's only the most known places in Disneyland and also known as the most Haunted Mansion. Of course people would believe that it's haunted because, I mean come on! It's a mansion! A lot of mansions are haunted but nothing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Outline For Abortion Research Paper Descriptive: Abortion is the termination of an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. It is a controversial issue affecting our society and raises ethical issues. Abortions can be performed before nine weeks from the last menstrual period and is performed either surgically with the removal of the fetus or medically with drugs. From nine weeks until 14 weeks, an abortion is performed by a dilatation and suction curettage procedure. After 14 weeks, abortions are then performed by an evacuation procedure. After 20 weeks of gestation, abortions can be performed by labor induction, prostaglandin labor induction, saline infusion, hysterectomy, or dilatation and extraction. Illustrative: Imagine a small, dull colored room where the windows are closed off and inside lies a single medical bed with pointy silver objects surrounding it. The coldness of the room gives you chills but not because of the temperature. Even more chilling are the internal struggles a woman will have to fight through. Does she want to do this? No, she just feels like it is her only choice. She reluctantly enters the room where she will experience a moment that she will never be able to erase from her mind. For the rest of her life, she will be left wondering if she made the right choice. The doctor disrupts her internal questioning with a casual greeting. He does not smile when he introduces himself and she is glad about this because how twisted it would be to show any sign of joy in a place such as this. She Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Essay About Myself With my green plastic safety scissors from my pencil case, I hid under the craft table in my living room and sawed off my blonde bangs until there were only millimeter long blonde sprigs of hair left sticking from the top of my forehead. This was just the first of many times that I tried to change my appearance to escape the shadow of my sister and become my own unique person. At the age of four, I lacked any formal hairdresser education so my DIY haircut forced me to wear many wide headbands to hide the hideous sprigs of butchered hair, but in my mind my mission was successful, because I finally looked different than my sister. Anna, my identical twin, looks exactly like me, except for the odd freckle, our slightly different nose structures and the slight chip on her upper left tooth. I can always tell us apart so I hardly notice that I basically have a clone following me around all the time, but for others knowing which twin I am proves challenging. It didn't help when my mom dressed in matching outfits from head to toe. For my first Halloween my brother dressed up like a firefighter and Anna and I were his dalmatians, then he was a farmer and we were pigs. When we turned five we decided to pick out our own clothes. In kindergarten Anna and I decided that she would only wear pink, purple and orange while my wardrobe would only contain blue, green and yellow clothing. • 7. Descriptive Essay About Animals Animals are my favorite things in the world! Me and my family had an amazing trip to Wild Wonders, where I saw and pet so many adorable animals that live there. My family includes my mom, my dad, my brothers Jackson and Gavin, and my cousins, Kyra and Lily. We went to wild wonders on a hot and sunny day. The sky was clear baby blue, dotted with the occasional fluffy white cloud. Wild Wonders is in Bonsall, California. I grew a lot from that trip, and I learned a valuable lesson. In the beginning, I drive for quite a while. The wind is whipping my long blonde hair around in my face, and my brown eyes are twinkling with excitement. I look out my window at the constantly changing landscape. One minute I see a large grove of short and stubby avocado trees growing off the side of a mountain, the next minute I see red brick houses and tall buildings stretching on and on in the sea I call a city. "Wow, Wyatt, I'm so excited! I cannot wait to get there." I hear my cousin's voice and I turn around and see her smiling face. She looks almost exactly like me, but with way more freckles and she has a girl's facial structure. "Yeah. I'm also really excited, Lily," I agree. "I can't believe we waited for so long and it's finally here." While me and Lily talk about what animals we think are going to be there, Jackson, Gavin, and Kyra all play the cheesy car games "Would You Rather" and "Truth or Dare" and "I Spy". Lily is 10, I'm 11, Jackson and Kyra are 13 and 14, and Gavins 15. We Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Great waves toss and turn with great force. Rushing as they collide with the earth soaking the soft sand. The ocean seemed to be howling as every wave grew as tall as a mountain. Slowly, the water creeps forward, then lazily seeping back in the vast ocean, only to do the same over and over again. The deep sea is a mysterious place where sea creatures lurk beneath the waves. Blue, sparkling water is everywhere you look with no end. The humming waves seem to whisper as if telling me the most confidential secret. You can never really hear them clearly until you dive in deeper and deeper. I breathe in the warm air as I gaze out at my beautiful home. So wide I'm not even certain I've seen all it's beauty that lies beneath. I can see the shadows of tiny fish swimming above the soft sand. They are so small they look as though they are microscopic. I reach down and run my hands through the wet substance that is so thick that my muscles grow tired the deeper my hand goes. As I lift my hand up, the sand makes a cloud of powder, slowly drifting through the water. The waters are so calm as though nothing could anger them. Each wave slowly rocking back and forth to the rhythm of the sea. I lower my fins beneath the water and a coolness rushes through me as I feel the cold, wet water. The soft breeze brushes against my skin with the scent of an indescribable satisfaction. Hours passed as the warmth of the sun seemed to just soak into my skin and relax my mind. As the day goes on, it Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Descriptive Essay On An Island The first thing that hit me was the sound. The sounds of birds, the sound of the sea crawling onto the sand. I felt million grains of sand underneath my feet and the cool breeze against my face. Moreover, the tantalizing scent of the washed–up waves, coconut, and pineapple are all mixed into one. As I opened my eyes, I was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that moment. It was like continuing a dream after waking up. So I dragged myself up and turn my head to the east. While the sky in the opposite direction was still dark, the dawn on the east side already broke. A mixture of yellow and orange on the horizon beneath a dark neon blue ocean of night had begun to peek out. As the sun continuously rose, all of the purple and deep blue faded away, and the sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining so very blindingly beautiful. After I watched the sunrise, my mood lifted. Notwithstanding, I still feel threatened for I got trapped on an island. I stood there for a moment and tried to figure out how I got to this island. A series of quick flashback of a shipwreck, and a big storm. Consequently, I have a severe headache, so I decided to sit down in the sand. While sitting down, I observe the island and find that I was surrounded by water and some other islands. The water around the island was as clear as crystal, to the point I can see the depths of the sea. Again, I dragged myself up and turn to the back; it seemed like a tropical paradise. There were multitudes of greenery, lush foliage that looked like they were painted on. I walk deeper into the island. Nowhere, the sound of the birds started to raise up. It brought freedom and happiness to the mind. Beautiful flowers in reds, yellows, purples, and pinks lounged happily along the banks of small streams. Following the streams, it allowed me to hear the playful sound of the water lapping on the rocks, and the sound of leaves rustling when the wind blew gently, bringing with it a feeling of peace and tranquility. Continuing through the trees, my stomach started growling like a monster who is ready to eat its prey. Accordingly, the smell of fruits suddenly arises on my left side so I made my way toward the fruity smell, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Descriptive Essay On Farm Autumn On A Farm Growing up on a farm, as a kid, during the fall, felt so magical, it is what I picture Hogwarts must feel like. I lived in a red–brick house with a bumpy, gravel driveway as long as the Nile. The house always smelled of cinnamon, due to my mom always baking and dirty kids, due to my messy brothers and I. My favorite memories, in that house, took place, during the fall, with our animals, in our kitchen and being outside and looking at the night sky. Living on a farm and being homeschooled, my brothers and I were expected to do a bunch of helping out. Luckily for me, I have always been a morning person and enjoyed waking up at the crack of dawn to do my chores. Most of my time, before I even had had breakfast, I would be outside, breathing the cool autumn air and would make my way to the barn to feed the animals. We had twenty–four animals in total: eight chickens, three cows, two horses, five pigs, three dogs and a goat. The early morning air, mixed with the smell of coffee brewing that came from a cracked open window and the hay from our old, wooden barn made me ecstatic. The clear, morning sky and feeling the autumn breeze underneath my jacket brought comfort to my heart. I loved everything about being able to breathe in the fresh, crispy air as I walked to the barn. When I would get there, I would be greeted with the smell of horse mane and chicken manure. This was my least favorite part of the morning. The animals would be excited to see me because they Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Descriptive Essay On My Dream House Everyone has a "dream house", they just rely on your opinions and beliefs. You can have a modern dream house, or maybe a vintage dream house. You can also either live in the woods, in the city, or even right by the beach! You can be by yourself, or you can have lots and lots of roommates. You can have lots of neighbors, or maybe even none at all! You could live off of a mountain, or maybe on a paved street. First of all, my house would be in the woods, away from everyone else. I would also live in a modern looking log cabin. It has always been a dream of mine to live in a log cabin. I also want to live in a modern house, so if you mix the two together, that would just be perfect for me. I think that if you live in the woods, which is secluded from everyone else, with a few friends, life would be perfect. My house would be a two story, modern looking log cabin with lights all around the outside so it would look beautiful at night. I would also have 4 roommates. They would all be my best friends and we would have lots and lots of fun in our house. My roommates' names are Kian, Jc, Franny, and Bobby. They are all people that I would have the most fun living with. Kian, Jc, and Bobby are all boys while Franny and I would be the only girls. Sometimes, two guys named Harrison and Anderson would live with us for about a month to two months at a time. They would also be really fun to live with, and would basically be roommates. I think these people would be the best roommates Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Descriptive Essay On My Neighborhood My neighborhood is unlike any other neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. I truly feel like I am at home and connected with the people in my community. Being in a different neighborhood when visiting my friend's home or a family member's, causes a disconnect within myself. I do not feel the same friendly atmosphere, outside my home I see houses on the same street, but no community. I comprehensibly feel displaced because it is it not an area I value. The surroundings of a different neighborhood is not significant to me. Despite my unfamiliarity, my observations I notice the difference between my community and my friends or family member's. In other neighborhoods, neighbors lack to know the basics of one another, something simple such...show more content... Courage has been beneficial because, I am not shy or afraid to meet new people and socialize. I gained confidence within myself because I do not feel awkward in social situations. Furthermore, my neighborhood has shaped me into a charismatic person; it is helpful when encountering social relationships outside of my surroundings. Aside from the personal lessons, I have been influenced to be festive. During most celebrated holiday such as: Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas, my neighborhood embraces their excitement with beautiful decorations. According to the article Social Cohesiveness, Territoriality, and Holiday Decorations by Barbara Brown and Carol Werner, observations on holiday decorations were done on a whole block during Halloween and Christmas; the analyses indicated that attitudes and behaviors combined to reflect degrees of neighborhood attachment, and neighborhood ties were stronger. In a sense, it makes me believe my neighbors unite to beautify our neighborhood streets while sharing common traditions, such as a Christmas tree or the birth of Jesus arrangement. Holidays are my favorite time of the year, because I love to see the streets of my home filled with jolly spirit. Around Christmas, I drive block by block to admire the lovely decorations. The sound of celebration and the smell of festive meals fill the atmosphere. Supermarkets are crowed than ever, parking lots, and traffic is so congested, but I feel satisfied seeing my neighborhood Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Descriptive Essay About The Ocean Nevertheless, the comforting white clouds began to stretch and darken swirling themselves into a silvery metallic vortex. Majestic and alive a giant eye looked down upon me, with a menacing gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to mere insignificance within its domain, and more important business for itself. My tiny body amid this vast strange universe, staring at the gunmetal clouds, overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before. Otherworldly, the impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells, and with it this time – the smell of death. It hit like a copper truck slamming into me creating a hole to dump its load of rotten eggs, human waste, cheap perfume, and rotting meat forcing my cells to explode from the inside out. It ignited a force of nausea in me so strong my head jerked and I blew out blood, vomit, and a silvery black ooze into my regulator. I kept purging the exhaust valve of excess blood, vomit, and liquid metal. The distinct smell of death became a taste I couldn't expel. An unholy taste of metallic death. The opposite spinning double waves kept moving through me, shattering my core with its opposing directions. Bright, iridescent metallic flashes outlined every wave's form; inside an internal beast of hematite black. But why? Why is the ocean changing? The ocean, my friend? Into what, and what was it changing me into? I tried to grasp it as if it was on the tip of my tongue, but it wasn't, I couldn't know Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Descriptive Essay On Dystopia Dystopian Setting The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever, was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning breeze felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of despair lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his utopia. Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall? No one knew. Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look. The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this abandoned land was the taste of burnt garlic. The screams and cries of terror undistinguishable between beast and human fill the ears of the last ones living. The sky, which was lit by the glow of fires, is grey and empty. Decaying bodies and...show more content... As I walked, the air of this haunted, dreadful and sorrowful land had sucked the life out of everything and roared as humanity began to disappear. As I carried on walking, I noticed that the small fraction of light was getting smaller and smaller, until it had been engulfed into a think black ash like smoke. Aggressively, the wind walked past the building with its cruddy feeling, blowing away all signs of life. Deeper and deeper into the land was a burning car door. The fire roared and crackled. The roaring and crackling of the burning car door merged with the aggressive air and created the loudest sounds ever heard on land. Growing darker, the skies made me feel nauseous. The fear of not waking up if a human fell asleep towered Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 17. Descriptive Essay On A Morning Mornings just great. Us early birds have the gift of watching the world around us come back to life after being so tired. We all know most people don't like mornings simply because it interrupts sleep. Yeah, something you can do when you're dead. I turned to the window delighted to see a bright gray sky; just one giant cloud covering that asshole of a sun so it can't burn my skin and give me cancer. Sure, your idea of a beautiful day might include blue skies and fairies, but I never asked you. Today was.... Friday. Nothing special going on, so I'd have the regular classes. I threw on a black t–shirt and skinny jeans that were slung over my crappy desk chair and ran my fingers through my hair to work out any rats while making my way through a dim hallway to the kitchen. My house is just one big dim hallway with rooms. "Hey." My mom was already at work in the kitchen as always. She had the same dazed expression on her face as she did every morning as she did her tedious mom–chores. Every day she had to wash dishes, do laundry, cook food, pick up stuff around the house, etc. She set down a plate with a small cinnamon roll drenched in white icing out on the table:"Here, eat this before you leave." "Nah." "You need to eat something for breakfast, it's not good to skip meals." She nagged. "Says who?" "Says me. I read somewhere about it; they did quite a few studies on it." "Hn, Bye." The screen door slammed shut before my mother could finish her pointless lecture. I wasn't going to be late for school because of a cinnamon roll. Most kids get their parents to drive them nowadays, but walking is a perfect opportunity for some alone–time. People can just come find and interrupt my reveries even in my own home, but when I walk, I'm traveling, and no one's going to try and catch up to me. Just thoughts, music, and burly trees looming over cracked sidewalks. For the most part, it's a peaceful yet uneventful journey. Other than dogs occasionally carrying on or people leaving early for work, there are almost no interruptions. Chg–chg–chg–chg. I grinned at the sound of a train beginning to rumble across rickety, old railroad tracks. Somehow, I couldn't help but smile during moments like these. Soon the train Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Descriptive Essay On A Portrait Before I explain the portrait I have made of myself it is important to ask, "What exactly is a portrait?" A typical portrait is a piece of art that's purpose is to depict one's likeness. Typically portraits are made through using paint, photography and sculptures but really can be made through any medium. But portraits can be so much more than just a physical representation of someone. A portrait can depict someone without having their physical features in it, it can even be something that typically people don't see like sound and music. Whether it be a quilt, a mixtape, or just a single dot on a paper, it can mean something that reflects someone through who they are. While capturing a physical representation of someone may show emotion and some personality to them it only scratches the surface when there are so many more details to be uncovered about them. I think displaying one's self in ways other than their physical form has a stronger connection as a portrait. My portrait consists of two layers and when put together makes the whole piece. I started out by digitally painting a literal self portrait since that is what a lot of people would think of when they see the word "portrait". After digitally painting myself as how I'm physically seen I made a second part featuring a black space blocking out my face only leaving an outline of my face. Inside the black space I created a web of blue lines filling in the black space on my head which extends over non blacked Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Descriptive Essay Of A Restaurant Once I stepped inside the restaurant I automatically could hear the music playing at a moderate level and the laughter of the customers. Right off the back the restaurant's ambiance had a positive vibe. Mindful, it was a Saturday late afternoon. Mary Jane Burger and Brew is a local restaurant trying to stay true to its past. The granddaughter of the original owner now runs the place with the intention of serving good quality food where the ingredients are fresh, mouth watering, and surely not filled with antibiotics and all that other genetically modified elements found in processed foods. The vintage, rustic looking place, holds a small town atmosphere with a big taste. The host sat my sister and I at a table in the middle of the dining area. A giant window let sunlight flood into the room and the speakers provided a good backdrop of music to help engage conversation. The restaurant itself seems fairly modern: leather seating, dark wood tables, and mason jar for glasses. It is the epitome of a hang out spot for any teen, millennial, or elder meetup. The staff caters to the needs of the customers and are always ready to help out in any way possible. I started the meal off with a glass of sweet tea that never made it lower then the halfway point. The waitress was always there with a pitcher of their home brewed sweet tea. The tea itself was not too sweet, it had the subtle taste of the bitterness that tea should have. In other words it did not taste like someone dumped a bag Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Descriptive Essay About Spaghetti Did you have any food obsessions as a kid, and eat the same thing continually? Ordinarily, the one meal I am willing to kill over is spaghetti. The one person who comes to mind when I think about spaghetti is my grandmother. Her sauce is as thick as her history and the many layers to the dish represent the transitions she has had all throughout her life. Spaghetti is my go–to meal for heartaches, stress, and happiness. I can 't just eat anyone 's spaghetti or any type of spaghetti. First, it has to be my Mammaw 's (grandmother) spaghetti because she adds the perfect amount of sugar and love into her infamous sauce. Above all, She 's extremely talented in the kitchen and it 's because of her background. My grandmother dropped out of school...show more content... Eating half naked sounds weird, well it is weird, but that just shows you the closeness of our relationship. I 'm obsessed with spaghetti, it 's the best carbs a girl could get her hands on. For instance, when my grandmother is cooking her infamous spaghetti, the whole neighborhood knows because you can smell the sauce from outside of the house. We use to stay in a small shotgun house and since there was poor ventilation, she would cook with the door open. Well, we had to stop that because neighbors would beg like no tomorrow for a plate of food, the same neighbors who wouldn 't even lend you a cup of sugar if your life depended on it. Moreover, the downfall of her cooking without the door open is that my mouth would hang to the floor the whole time the meal was being prepared because I would be mesmerized. When she cooks, she seduces you and the aromas pull moans from the bottom of your belly. I remember this one time my nose got me in trouble. My nose grew feet and walked me to the kitchen where I saw the spaghetti cooling off on the counter, I figured one or three spoonfuls of the sauce would hurt, well I was wrong. The sauce was so hot on my tongue that tears came out of my eyes. I screamed and screamed until my grandmother came in the kitchen. She said, " Girl what in the hell is wrong with you?" I mumbled, "Mawmaw my tongue is on fire." She giggled,"Fatty butt, you couldn 't wait, I 've told you too many times to not to open my pots," she 's really strict Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 21. Descriptive Essay About Soccer Soccer. fast moving, strategy, competitive, I loved those aspects in the game. In the month of March, when all the soccer tryouts began, I decided to try out for an older team which was 2 years older–my brother's team– just for fun. I went out on the day of the trial and surprisingly, I made the team. Feeling as if I had won the million dollar lottery, filled with excitement, on the side with fear because there were boys who were enormous and strong on my team. The only reason they were bigger, because I was 2 years younger. It was the first game of the season. It was also the first game for me being on the team. It was the scared moment of my life, all at once. But I knew it would be fun because I'll improve more rapidly than I would, playing in my age group. Tweet!! the game began. 22 powerful bodies on the field. I was not the starting line of players because I was the younger one and the new one on the team. I knew, in order for me to be the starting player, I needed to prove to my coach that I am capable of being the starting line. My brother was the starting player, not because he was better than me, but he had been on the team longer. He played the same positions as me– left wing– so every time I would have to substitute in for him when he got tired. I didn't have as much time to play as the others did. With great deals of struggle and going to each practice with the team. I was determined. Arriving 30 minutes earlier, for extra warm up and be in the state of mine that I was in the game. Every 2 days, going to the gym to workout so I could gain bigger and stronger than the older dudes I played with. Beautifully, with all the self–development skills and techniques, I was in the best shape of my life. Achieving smaller different goals while aiming for the main one. One shot and multiple kills. As the time passed, I was halfway through the season. Nevertheless, I expanded immensely and exceptionally. I could feel it and I could absolutely trust my feelings. I didn't stop there yet. I wanted to aim higher. I wanted to fly like the birds. I wanted to be the best. Being the starting line of player, the captain of the team. That was only possible if I was to train more and do everything that was cruisel Get more content on HelpWriting.net
