Streetbroadcast in retail park victory
Outdoor contractor Streetbroadcast has bought competitor HighStreet Media for an undisclosed
sum, cementing its grip on the retail park sector.
The deal gives Streetbroadcast the advertising rights to seven retail parks - clusters of chain stores
around a central car park - including deals with Prudential and Pillar and sites in Chester, Sunderland,
Denton and Eastbourne.
Streetbroadcast now claims 100% control of retail park advertising and 41% of the overall destination
marketplace, including shopping centres, retail parks and leisure and entertainment parks, with 135
locations across the UK.
Mungo Knott, managing director of UK Sales at Streetbroadcast, said: "This is our second business
acquisition this year, further strengthening our range of products designed to improve any six-sheet
campaign."
