3. Storyboard for Portfolio homepage Leigh Jordan Layout 2 Text: With this degree, most immediately, I’d like to be able to appeal to my students’ sense of media. I want to be able to wow them with the things I know how to do. Sometimes showing the students that you can create something unique is half the battle. Beyond my job as a media specialist, I’d like to find a job as a district-level technology integration specialist. The blend of working with students and adults is appealing on many fronts. For one, there is the potential to impact many students outside my current school. The job itself would require a clear understanding of not only available tech resources available at the district, but also an awareness of new technology on the rise—via personal professional development and participation on the itforum and edtech listervs, membership in ISTE (and other professional organizations), and attendance at conferences like NECC or SC’s EdTech conference.
