1. On 6th January we celebrate the Three Wise Men Festivity.

2. We call them “los Tres Reyes Magos”: Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar.

3. They are part of the Nativity scene, with which we usually decorate our houses.

4. Children are told that they must be good so that the Three Wise Men bring them the presents they asked for in a letter.

5. Kids go to bed early that night and open their gifts in the morning.

6. If they didn’t behave properly the previous year, they would also be given a piece of coal (sweet sugar coal nowadays).

7. We usually have a cake called Roscón de Reyes for breakfast after opening the presents
