3. The Company
A few steps from the sea, surrounded by green hills of Teramo and in the charming scenary of the Calanchi of Atri, is
located the winery Centorame always witness and interpreret of a land of rare beauty and simple and authentic
expression.
Located just five miles as the crow flies from the coast and at altitude of 180 meters above sea level, the estate
extends over nineteen acres of fertile, generous and clayey land, rich in flavors and fragrances surprising to find in a
glass of red Monteplulciano or a drop of virgin olive oil.
Being witnesses and interpreters of a territory is the goal that has inspired and guided over the years the farm Cen-
torame, as well as working exclusively native vines and make them better express, without changing their natural
aromatic complexity, has always been the basis of all production philosophy.
The goal is to present wines recognizable in their variety, and due to the variety of origin for reason a loborious
search for quality and control of each stage are the constants that regulate the entire production, based on the
maximum control of the raw material.

San Michele
Montepulciano of Abruzzo DOC
100% Montepulciano
Grape harvest: Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are crushed and
destammed, the juice and the skins have
been soaking for 30 days with soft wine
pressing and delastage applications.
Maturation and refinement: the wine is
kept 1 year in stainless steel vats and 1
year in the bottles.

Trebbiano of Abruzzo DOC
100% Trebbiano
Grape harvest: Quite Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are softly cru-
shed and destammed, the skins and the
juice have been soaking for 18 hours at a
temperature of 3° C, then the skins are
eliminated and at last the must fermen-
tation at 15° C.

Cerasuolo of Abruzzo DOC
100% Montepulciano
Grape harvest: Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are softly cru-
shed and destammed, the skins and the
juice have been soaking for 16 hours with
soft wine-pressing and “delastage” appli-
cation
Maturation and refinement: the wine is
kept 3 mounths in stainless steel vats
and 2 mounths in the bottles.

Castellum Vetus
Montepuciano of Abruzzo DOCG
100% Montepulciano
Grape harvest: Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are softly cru-
sched and destammed, the juice and the
skins have been soaking for 30days with
soft wine-pressing and delastage appli-
cation
Maturation and refinement: the wine is
kept in 225 Lt French oak barrels for 15
mounths and 1 year in the bottles. The
material is coming from different French
wood and it is of fine grain and medium
toasting.

Trebbiano of Abruzzo DOCG
100% Trebbiano
Grape harvest: Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are softly cru-
sched and destammed, the skins and
the juice have been soaking for 48 hours
at a temerature of 3° C, the skins are eli-
minated and at last the must ferments at
15° C.
Maturation and refinement: the wine is
kept in 500 Lt tonneaux and aged for 10
mounths and 6 mounths in the bottles.

Pecorino of Abruzzo IGT
100% Pecorino
Grape harvest: Quite Late harvest
Vinification: the grapes are softly cru-
sched and destammed, the skins and
the juice have been soaking for 48 hours
at a temperature of 3° C, then the skins
are eliminated and at the lasta the must
ferments at 15° C.
