GoodReads + Blogger How to Add a GoodReads widget to your sidebar

[object Object],Step 1 Search for a book. Add to my books by selecting appropriate shelf.

[object Object],Step 2 View the books you’ve added to your library. In the shelf column, click edit .

[object Object],...Step 2 If you’ve created the 2008Q1 bookshelf, click the box to assign a book to this shelf. To create the shelf, click new shelf and type in 2008Q1 to add a new shelf. Make sure the book is assigned to the shelf (a checkmark appears beside the shelf).

[object Object],Step 3 In the my books view, click the widget tool just above the search box. Select the 2008Q1 Shelf. (You can add more than one widget if you want to show off other books you’ve read!) Copy the copy.

[object Object],Step 4 From your Blogger dashboard, select Layout . Now add a gadget. Scroll down to find the HTML/JavaScript gadget and click the + to add it.

[object Object],...Step 4 Paste the code copied from GoodReads in the Content box and click Save . View Your blog to see if the gadget looks like you want it. You can change the order of your sidebar gadgets by dragging and dropping them into any order.
