2. Professional Information
I have been teaching for (gulp) 30 years. This will be my
sixteenth year teaching in Georgia. A decade spent teaching in
GA school system and six years in Specialized (Piaget and
Reggio) learning centers . I have taught K - 5 students in both
General Education and Special Education.
3. I started my professional education by attending SUNY
at Broome in Binghamton, NY. I received my Bachelors
of Science in Psychology and ECE from Kennesaw State
University, my Masters Certificate in Special Education
from University of Georgia ( GO DAWGS! ). In 2014, I
received my M.Ed. In Instructional Technology from
Georgia Southern.

4. My Personal Background
I am originally from Binghamton, NY. I lived there for 32
years. I moved to Layfette, CO for a year, but I prefer
being close to the ocean then surrounded by mountains
(although they were beautiful). I moved to Georgia and
have loved it! I consider myself a transplant and my
grandchildren make fun of my "accent".
5. I am the eighth child in my family, a wife, a
mother of a wonderful daughter, a mother-in-law, an
aunt, a cousin and most important a grandmother of
four.
