I can trace my current job back to a single tweet. Hear my story and others who’ve found great professional opportunities on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Learn how you can use social media to build a professional network, get noticed, and get hired.
I’ve been using social media to build professional relationship on my campus, in my workplace, and internationally with like-minded professionals and students, since 2005.
This session is not about what you should and shouldn’t post on social media. If you want a step-by-step guide about how to build your online presence so you always have your best foot forward, check out What Happens on Campus Stays On YouTube. We’re not going to focus much on that today, but I highly recommend you give it some thought, well before you graduate.
