The Italian designer Alberta Ferretti showcased its latest 2012 Spring-Summer at
the opening of Cali Exposhow. Find the images of the spectacular catwalk here.
Preceded by a ceremonial red carpet at the Valley Event Center of the Pacific
gathered attendees, special guests and the national and international press to
start the week of fashion in the Valle del Cauca, Cali Exposhow. The opening
was conducted by the renowned Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, who presented
his latest collection 2012 Spring - Summer, exposed a few days at Fashion Week
in Milan.
The simplicity and romance of Ferretti were protagonists during the catwalk
yesterday. Light and flowing garments, some rich in structure, details, and
drapes, highlight the femininity of a woman of sophistication and cutting edge.
The slides accompanied by an exquisite work in precious stones were visible in
most parts, features silhouettes of the 40's and 20's reflected a sense of sobriety
and elegance in this collection. The color palette tones started from electrical and
living up to neutral colors like black and white. Tribal and floral prints in shades of
ocher, yellow and brown highlighted within this sample.
The staging stunning contrast with the beautiful wedding dresses presented at
the end of the parade. Fine details on stunning crystal beads and lace,
asymmetrical cuts and pure white, were some of the salient features in each of
these dresses, which were also presented during the last week of Haute Couture
in Paris.
