After logging in to Moodle, click on the course in which you want to post an entry in the Journal assignment.
In this case, click on Demo Course.

Click on the Journal assignment link, say Assignment 1 Lesson Plan.

Click on the Start or edit my journal entry button to start writing your entry.

Now, you can type in your entry in the text box. For example,
“Lesson plan is a teacher’s detailed description of the course, … .”

Before saving your entry, if you want to revert your entry to an earlier revision and discard changes made,
you can click on the Revert button at the bottom of the page.

Click on the Save changes button to save the entry when no more changes are needed.
