Blood genotypes and phenotypes
1. Two parents have the following alleles for
hemophilia: XHXh and XHY. Draw a Punnett
square to answer the following questions:
What is the probability that a son will have
hemophilia?
What is the probability that a daughter will have
hemophilia?
2. In hemophilia, a sick allele is Xh and a normal
   allele is XH.
a) What is the genotype of a woman that is a
   carrier of hemophilia?
b) Of a normal woman?
c) Of a male that has hemophilia?
Pedigree
Construct a pedigree
3. Emily (carrier of colorblindness) and Dave
(normal) got married and had 2 children: Robert
   (colorblind) and Monica (carrier).
• Monica got married with Tom (normal) and had 2
