At Potpourri, employees take
initiative, pride in their work and
accomplishments, and are trusted to
work independently at the
warehouse. To manage such a large
number of employees they were
using touch-based biometric time
clocks. But since the beginning of the
Covid-19 pandemic, the Potpourri
Group looked for a more secure way
for their workforce to submit
punches safely. They wanted to
deploy a more hygienic and
touchless solution for their
employees to punch in and punch
out.
Potpourri wanted a platform that
would help the employees to
maintain proper hygiene during the
potential spread of Covid-19. As
Potpourri was looking for a touchless
solution, we suggested that they use

capturing touchless attendance
records.

The process eliminated the
possibility of touching any
attendance machine at the
punching stations after arriving at
the warehouse. Once an employee
scans the barcode, the solution then
seamlessly submits their time data
to UKG Workforce Ready.
