techniques
• Search social media
Put @ in front of a word to search social media. For
example: @twitter
• Search for a price
Put $ in front of a number. For example: camera $400
• Search hashtags
Put # in front of a word. For example:

• Exclude words from your search
Put - in front of a word you want to leave out. For
example, jaguar speed-car
• Search for an exact match
Put a word or phrase inside quotes. For example, "tallest

Video tidah hanya YouTube, ada banyak sumber lain dan bias di search tersendiri di Google.
Terdapat tab “Videos” dan “Tools” yang juga terdapat di pencarian lain.
Layanan yang banyak gunanya ketika kita ingin memantau perkembangan suatu hal di Internet.
Ada saran yang diberikan Google, tidak selalu tepat.
Pengaturan lebih lanjut.
Facebook memiliki kandungan konten yang sangat besar sekali. Sebagian besar tidak dapat dijangkau oleh Google karena memang ditutup. Bisa karena persaingan bisnis dan bias pula karena alasan privacy dan restriction.
Perlu diketahui bahwa sesi kita tidak hanya untuk mencari data dan informasi, tetapi juga utk penyebaran informasi. Jadi slides berikut harus dilihat dari 2 sisi.
Lalu bagaimana masuk dan mencari data yang luar biasa besar di Facebook? Secara umum pencarian di Facebook terbagi 2, yg pertama dari lingkungan teman kita, serta kedua dari konten yang dibagi secara public. Pencarian mencakup posting, peple, foto, video, dst.
Lebih sulit dan hasil pencarian kurang dalam.
Perhatikan URL dan asal halaman yang muncul di Google.
Twitter adalah dunia tersendiri yang lebih terbuka disbanding Facebook.
Ini hal penting yang banyak kita lewatkan.
