 Hoardings is one type of outdoor advertising
  media.
 It has visual effect on people.

 People     can see the hoardings on
  highways, busy roads, etc.
 Hoardings give companies chance to make
  people understand about the different thing
  on the passing roads.
ADVANTAGES OF HOARDINGS

 New ideas can help advertiser to cover mass
  of people for long time.
 It can cover mass group of people.

 It is easily visible to people.

 It make people aware about product in short
  time.
BARRIERS OF HOARDINGS

 It is expensive as compare to other media.
 Sometimes people don’t have time to look at
  hoardings.
 Sometimes it can’t affect people.

 It can be highly affected by weather.

 Same type of or same hoardings can’t attract
  people long time.
COMMON MISTAKES

 Sometimes advertiser gives unnecessary
  things.
 The copy of other brand doesn’t affect
  people.
 The basic required information's are missing
  from the hoardings.
 Sometimes the location is such kind that the
  mass don’t have time to see it.
 Message is not clear of advertising.
OVERCOME OF BARRIERS OF HOARDINGS

 New ideas in hoardings is necessary.
 The attractiveness is the basic necessity.

 The complete information must be given to
  the public.
 In hoardings whole mass must be covered.
  (means not only some category of people
  oriented advertisement but to the whole
  crowd)
 Regular update of the hoarding is necessary.
 The location must be such that people can’t
  miss the hoarding.
 Message of advertising must be clear to the
  viewer.

 A digital billboard is a billboard that is created
  from computer programs and software.
 Digital billboards can be designed to display
  running text, display several different
  displays from the same company, and even
  exist to provide several companies a certain
  slot of time during the day.
 Because of the versatility and increased
  potential revenue for these signs, they are
  likely to become the standard for the future.
