2. A MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR
My dear future engineers,
ow in these days electricity has been a basic need to
common peoples. Simultaneous requirement of well
trained power professionals is increasing and at the same
time to provide well trained power professionals to the
plant is being challenging. Engineering curriculum is very vast and
attention on single subject is not practical. Power engineering is
very vast in its own. To keep the student in diverse thermal power
plants & provide them complete knowledge is not an easy task.
Fresher's and week students are facing huge difficulties in this
scenario. Recognized companies entertaining only good students
and average students suffer very long period due to lack of
opportunity. NPTI like institutions provides training & placement
facility to the students but due rigorous eligibility criterion, it is not
common to all interested students. WRPTC is also influenced with
NPTI and committed to train each and every interested student at
pocket money price. It is not a value addition but a mandatory
requirement for the concept development of mechanical
engineering students.

3. VISION
Willam Rankine Power Training Centre will become most valuable centre for
power training. It is the goal of this Institute to make realize the student to
each and every theoretical formulation with practical cultivation and
familiarize the student with industrial culture.
MISSION
It is the goal of WRPTC to provide training in Engineering/Diploma colleges
and enable the student to learn and use industrial practices for fulfillment of
power demand with full safety & performance.
METHODOLOGY
A very systematic approach is applied for the training. Animations, Models,
DCS images and quiz competitions like approaches are the valuable tools
which will enhance the thinking & analyzing power of the students. It will
provide the full package from river water to steam and electricity & from coal
mines to Co2 gas.
