The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or LLS, is the largest voluntary health agency in the world that is dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, myeloma, and other blood cancers. In addition to funding research around the globe, LLS provides vital support to those who are fighting blood cancer.

4. The Light the Night Walk is one of the most
important LLS fundraisers of the year. In
neighborhoods throughout the U.S. and
Canada, people come together on an evening
walk carrying illuminated balloons to raise
money and support for LLS. Each participant is
encouraged to raise at least $100 for LLS and
