ENGIM was created to continue the many
activities organised for young people and

ENGIM organises training and guidance
activities in Italy and abroad for young people

schools and universities, the welfare services and employment centres, to plan
training programmes that meet the users’ expectations and the needs of the
business world. It designs and implements activities financed by the regional and
provincial authorities, and by the European Social Fund. On the request of
companies/organisations/associations, it organises refresher, retraining and
continuous training courses.
ENGIM is approved by the Piedmont Regional Government as both a training and a

Notas del editor
Piedmont ( Italian : Piemonte ) is one of the 20 Regions of Italy . It has a population of about 4.4 million. The capital is Turin , the name of the region is a contraction of the Italian "Ai piedi del monte", meaning "At the base of the mountain" Turin ( Italian : Torino ) is a major city as well as a business and cultural centre in northern Italy , capital of the Piedmont region, located mainly on the left bank of the Po River surrounded by the Alpine arch . The population of the city of Turin is about 1 milion of inhabitants, ranking fourth in Italy. It is ranked third, after Rome and Milan , for economical strength. Turin is well known as the home of the Shroud of Turin , the football teams Juventus FC and Torino FC , the headquarters of automobile manufacturers Fiat and Lancia, and host of the 2006 Winter Olympics. It was the capital of the Duchy of Savoy from 1563, then of the Kingdom of Sardinia ruled by the Royal House of Savoy and finally the first capital of a unified Italy. It is often referred to as "the Capital of the Alps", "Automobile Capital" and "the Subalpine Capital". In one photo there is a bull head shaped tap for public fountain
NB: engim is a private organization which works with public fundings. We are not like a school and our employees are not public servant.
Three are the areas where I’m involved. The first one is planning and designing learning and training activities. My major activity is to plan courses for different kind of people and mainly adult people both employed and unemployed. I answer to the call for proposal of my local authorities in charge fo the training funding (Provincia di Torino and Regione Piemonte). These type of courses are related to particular call for tender that our Region or Province area give to the vocational training organizations. Then, If I am lucky, I am involved in other projects aimed at local development or any project which have some training in it. If again I am VERY lucky I am involved in transnational projects like this Grundtvig and like the other Grundtvig you know.
The regions have power on vocational education and training, the education system is established by the state. Main industries are manufacturing which employ 19% of employees. Education means schools from pre-primary to university: teachers are state employed (= public servants) VET is like a parallel system and employees are mainly from private sector which gets funding from the ESF through the regional government.
Decrease of graduates too. More females than males
Plethora of actors each with a specific role to play.
Aiming at improving the quality of education and professional training which at the same time ensure a high degree of social cohesion. Actions : Development of key competencies for lifelong learning in the framework for vocational qualifications adoption of recognition of standard for skills within the EQF (ceritifcazioni varie) Education reform (controversial) integration between apprenticeship and work In riferimento al punto qualification systems some regions have already best practices to offer, among them Piemonte. Crises hits most weaker categories such as young people and women LLL involves more people with higher level of education than the others Very slow evolution of enterprises training offer: lowest in europe. Measures to contrast crises: ESF, shourt courses in order to keep the benefit.
