Time signatures review of the past lesson
1. TIME SIGNATURES
It is also called meter signatures.
It composed of two numbers on top of another.
2- two beats in every measures and a quarter
4 note receives one count.
3- three beats in every measures and a quarter
4 note receives one count.
4- four beats in every measures and a quarter
4 note receives one count.
2. Accent-is a symbol to give stress on to a given
note.
> symbol for strong beats
_ symbol for weak beats
2 time is march time

5. CLEF
is a musical symbol written at the
beginning of the staff.
G- Clef also called treble clef. In
writing G clef you should start on
the second line of the staff. It
indicates that the notes are played
on a high register.
6. F Clef also called bass clef.
The dots are placed on the third
and fourth spaces of the staff. It
indicates that the notes are played
on a lower register.
7. Bar lines- divides the staff into
measures.
Measure- is referring to each division
made by the bar line.
Double bar line- indicates end of the
song. It is placed at the end of the
staff.
